knows what they're doing, his guy wasn't able to get the unit running. I on behalf of USA/C informed him that USA/C price is $per hrplus parts and materials, starting from when USA/C Leaves for the customerHe asked me we could we could give him a break on the priceI explained to him USA/C prices are very reasonable and the job will probably go into overtime, I would give him a break on the O/TI asked what is the problem w/ the unitHe said he thinks it has a leakI on behalf of USA/C would be leaving Wayne NJ shortly if he had no problems w/ the priceHe asked again if I could do some thing for him on the priceI explained to him- I'm very busy I have to finish the job I'm onHe agreed. When My worker and I arrived, ( I wasn't charging for my employee, or the charge would be $per hr.) we found a leak on the suction line (copper) in the rear of the unitThe pipe had been folded overI texted *** the price would be $to He again ask me if I could help on the priceI explained to him this is best we can do, he agreedWe repaired the leak and evacuated the refrigeration system down to lbs head gauge.This is standard procedure to boil off moisture and any containments, also to detect any other leaks in systemThen we purge w/ dry nitrogen and pressured tested the unit to psiWe vacuumed the system again and system held vacuum for min., while we loaded equipment on the truckWe charge the system w/ refrigerant (there's absolutely no way USA/C would charge a system with a leak, It's illegal)We stared the unit and the condenser fan started clanging, we noticed one screw was completely remove and the other half way outWe tightened them down and the fan quieted down a bitWe asked the employees there if the unit has been running with this noise, they said it had been like this for a whileI asked if it stops at all, they stated; it does now and then. I informed *** of the problem when he arrive from shoppingHe stated; he would have his regular guy repair it. I gave him the bill $+ tax 33.81= He starting to beg me- can I do better on the billI explain to him I gave him the price before performed the work and he agreedHe started to pay me cash, I told him- just give me $I didn't even get a thank youSo he lied first to police and now the Revdex.com about how much he paid meI checked the unit temp(It was at 17degrees)I explained to *** because of the problem w/ the fan USA/C is not responsible for any other problems w/ unit other than the leak we repaired and left. I get a call from *** the next day stating that the unit isn't working and he wanted me to come thenI told him I was very busy and there would be a overtime charge for the holiday weekend or I will be there TuesdayI explained to him- if it's anything other than the leak I repaired, there would be a chargeI texted him on Sunday, which I've attach w/ this GmailThen on Tuesday before leaving I text him againWhen I arrived I found there was no Freon in the systemI informed *** of this and told him if it's my leak I would cover itI put nitrogen in the system and tested at psiThere was a leak in the front of the unit and I could hear it immediately!!! I then attempted to put the system in a vacuum, but it wouldn't pull down because of the leak confirming there was no other leak or the system wouldn't have pulled down after I repaired the leak the first timeI explained this to him and he freaked outRanting on and on how he paid me to do the jobThen telling me I couldn't leave until the cops got thereI started to film him and he said I could go the other way around the counterI loaded up my truck and called the police to confirm they were comingWhen they arrived, they said it's a civil matter- they can't make me do the work or him to pay meI inform the officer that I would be filing Theft of services, Flim Flam and Theft by deception chargesHe replied- I'm not filing any chargesI explain to him all I need is a incident report and I would file the chargesI left but realized I forgot my Nitrogen bottleFor obvious reasons I called the police to let them know I was returningThey told me to call before I got thereWhen I returned there were the three police cars in frontGuess what?
