Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The advertisement and sign on the sofa were clear. They were to buy our old sofa for a $500 credit. We gave them two chances to reconsider at the store. They refused. Their offer to do so only after we sent them, BBB and Consumer Protection a written complaint comes too late. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory, provided that Inspiration send a representative to my home to inspect the damage IN PERSON. I have attached pictures of the damage that they refer to as a "puncture" (the same ones I sent them). In my opinion, it looks more like a tear that originated along the seam. They made their judgement based on the pictures and not on a real visual inspection

On our website, we have added "after selling us your old couch for $300/$500" In the case of the sectional this customer wanted to purchase, it was not advertised on our website We have also updated our in store signage to indicate promotions can not be applied to already discounted items It is unfortunate that the customer has rejected our offer to rectify his complaint Should there is anything else we can you, please contact me at 808-237- Sincerely, Phung C***

Customer received delivery of sectional on February 2nd and signed that they received it in good condition. When we were notified of a tear, we review the pictures submitted. After review, it is consistent of a puncture and not a manufacture defect. In good faith, we offered the
customer, a new chaise at a deep discount. We also suggested that he get it repairs. However, customer was unhappy with the options and hung up on our customer service representative.We will have our manager contact the customer to see if we can come to an agreeable solution if he is willing
