Hi Ms. Garcia,

I just received the information on this complaint from [redacted] last Wednesday. I left a voicemail for Mr. [redacted] today on the indicated number, and am waiting to her back from him. I will let you know after I hear back from him. Also, the complaint states that the “Desired Settlement” is for us to “Finish the job”. Well, according to our notes, Mr. [redacted] is the one who stopped the process with us- we were more than happy to continue working on his file.

Review: I was promised a $75.00 deduction on my mortgage payment if I paid UW Solutions to represent me. I paid the exorbitant fee of $495.00 but only after careful examination. I asked detailed questions and was reassured that this modification could be done. I do have several emails to support this. After the salesman convinced me that I had nothing to worry about and that they guaranteed a $75.00 deduction I proceeded. My mortgage company called me to explain that ANYONE looking at my file would be able to see that I didn't qualify for such a modification and I should have never paid that amount to this company. After being denied this modification through my bank I called UW Solutions back. I was given a number to [redacted] and was told he could help me with a refund. When I called him he said that he couldn't help me unless I had some kind of proof. I said that I would be happy to forward email correspondences to him so that he could see what was communicated to me. That was on 3-18-2014. I sent another follow up email on 4/4/14 and also made several calls. I finally spoke a [redacted] on 4/24/14 and she said [redacted] was handling my case. [redacted] did call me once but we didn't connect. I called a few more times and left detailed messages but still no one has reached out to me and my refund has not been issued. I feel I was lied to and forced to believe that I could be helped. I feel taken advantage of as I tried to be a smart consumer and ask all the right questions prior to making this important decision for my family. I’m a single parent and couldn’t afford to pay this amount of $495.00 however I thought it was going to put us in a better financial position. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else that is truly in need and puts their trusts into a this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the money that I paid. The total was $495.00 and rightfully due back to me since they were not able to assist with my modification after promising me that this could be done.

Review: We were having our son checking into get a loan modification for us since 2011. We were contacted by UW Solutions September 2012 and was told that they would be able to help us with the process, So us being desperate to lower our mortgage payment of $969. They could get us a $500. payment. But we have to pay them a $595. filing fee for the paperwork needed and a monthly fee of $499. So in September 2012 they received the $595. via [redacted] 2 California, the $499. via ACH from out bank account. We had all the paperwork they asked from us bank statements, retirement letters, ID's ect, ect. by the end of December 2012. They did tell us that we would have to stop making the monthly mortgage payment $969. to ([redacted]) they told us that this was just part of the process because we needed to be in the rear's in order to get a loan modification. But we have been on time with our mortgage payments over the last 15+ years until this. UW Solutions contacted us the end of January 2013 that they still needed bank statements and they were missing this and that. And the same thing end of March 2013 and May 2013 same thing, Which was all a lie. I called a Lawyer offered free by a local news channel, and was informed that we were being Deceived and Defrauded by this company and stop making the $499. payments to them. And if UW Solutions were helping us they should have not been charging us monthly that is not how its done legally. We Stopped payment via the ACH by the our bank and was only able to get the last sixty days we received the April & May 2013 $499. payments back. The reason this has taken long to be in touch with the AZ,Revdex.com is we have just finished with our third month of the trial modification payment plan, And we are now starting the new monthly payments to ([redacted].) UW Solutions has Deceived and Defrauded us and caused us Emotional Drain and entitled to our monies back they Deceived and Defrauded from us, Mr [redacted] yrs & Mrs [redacted] yrs.Desired Settlement: We are asking for a refund of the monies only sent to UW Solutions $595. sent via [redacted] and have the paperwork pertaining to that action and bank statements. And also $499. for the months of September, October, November, December 2012. And $499. for the months of January, February, March 2013. Totaling $3642.00. MR. & MRS. [redacted]

This is not true it was already 8mos into this Scam, If UW inform persons to stop making the monthly mortgage payment in order to be able to do a loan modify, And also talking to the mortgage company myself after the fact, UW was very misleading and were only a scam and due to the untimely deaths of our older son and daughter we were scammed by a company looking to take advantage of a couple mourning the deaths of our older children, and how they figure their entitled our our retirement monies that just not right.

Business

Response:

Due to the complexity of Mr. [redacted]'s file it did take a longer than average period of time. However, UW Solutions worked diligently on Mr. [redacted]'s file throughout this time. As Mr. [redacted] stated, through UW Solutions efforts, he was ultimately able to obtain a loan modification.

UW Needs to refer to our original complaint this is what is our bases for this refund we are owed, again if your doing a HARP, you don't have the client stop making the mortgage payment, and start paying you, and 8mos. in you people were saying that we still needed paperwork which you all ready had, we have every correspondence since the beginning of this process, and have contacted a attorney and we will file if this in not resolved through the Revdex.com. I am not a client of UW Solutions for the following obvious reasons. The following are opinions, they are the facts, the sequence of events as they happened.

UW Solutions representative called me and informed me that they could guarantee a reduction in the principal to a specific amount on a mortgage, and a specific reduction in interest rate. After submitting all the requested documents, UW Solutions underwriter would not honor what was first stated. The underwriter further lied to us about the sale price of homes in that same neighborhood. The underwriter THEN proceeded to dispute and call into question the fact that a home in the same neighborhood recently sold for a certain low amount.

It is obvious that UW Solutions is not an honorable company.

Review: The company advertised that they would help with lowering mortgage through modification. They did not do so in timely manner and kept changing numbers and contacts. They took money from me and left me 17 months behind in mortageDesired Settlement: I want all the money they took without providing the service.

Review: U W Solutions is a company that claims to help with loan modification, They request a fee of 495.00 dollars to start the process. in may of 2013 after seven months and no results and very little communication from four processors that has been assigned to me and the taking of subsequent monthly charges from my checking account I have been notified they my home is in foreclosure. They advised to stop all payments to my lender, This company has not moved any further with the process of modification they always send a letter requesting the same information every 2 to 3 months. I had to send a letter to cut ties with a company that has taken my monies for the last seven months no results and no one will contact me. I realize now that I have been taken for bad refinancing and a lost of money that I really could not afford to just give away. I sent fax to this company request back the money that was paid to them for the services they did not render it's been over the number of days that I a refund. To no avail no response.Desired Settlement: Would like for this company to refund money that was paid to them for services not rendered

Mr. [redacted] submitted a fax to cancel services on 12/17/13. I personally called Mr. [redacted] regarding his request on the same day. He requested for me to call [redacted], as she was the best person to discuss this with. I left a message for [redacted] on the provided phone number on the same day. I did not hear back from [redacted] at that time. I called Mr. [redacted] today to discuss things further. Mr. [redacted] was not open to discussions and ended up hanging up on me, despite my polite and reasonable approach.

Regards,

After 7 months and 3 processors I expressed my concerns to manager [redacted] in November of 2013 .Before I sent a fax cutting ties with UW Solutions and requesting a refund for services not rendered in December

of 2013. He assured me that once he assigned a fourth processor there would be no problem, after November fee was withdrawn from the account the same letter arrived in mail requesting the same information that was previously sent, this information was also sent on November 26th 2013 Certified mail which was requesting a signature upon arrival and it was signed for. Another letter was sent in December requesting the same information again after the withdrawal funds from the bank account. After being assured that the matter would be taken care I see no resolutions in this. I'm fighting to keep my home out of foreclosure while they are asking for the same information. They have received over 2000.00 for services that they did not render and no one again calls to let you know the status of this so called modification they just want to argue about the funds being available in your account.

Response:

Regards,

U W solutions is a company that should be a red flag to consumers they practice unethical business standards charging documents fees when other companies don't charging 299.00 a so called post montoring fee that's unexplainable stated on their form and the best defense they after scamming elderly consumers out of their money for over 7 months is that the consumer cancelled in the middle of the service. This company never had any contact with the mortgage lender. They never even heard of UW solutions, Uw solutions could have easily tried to communicate with the lender about the rate they were offering, they did a swindle and caused a foreclose. I see no resolution with this company because the law protects them to take advantage of consumers

Review: I retained the services of UW Solutions to assist me with modifying my mortgage in February. I paid a deposit of $495 to start the work with subsequent charges and thus far very little has been done or communicated to me. UW Solutions agreed to update me weekly on the progress of my case, that has not happened; I was promised assignment of a processor and my case has been passed around more than 3 times and I still have not been assigned a processor; I took it upon myself to call and email with no timely or substantial response thus resulting in no resolution to my concerns. The end result is my case is still not moving forward.Desired Settlement: I have paid a total of $794 which I wish to be returned to me at once.

Review: Thay clame to be a loan modification under writers. My loan cop. have never heard of them. I was to late in finding this out and lost $395Desired Settlement: If no refund, ok. But stop them!

Business

Response:

I had the opportunity to speak with the client directly and address his questions and concerns. He is going to continue service with us for the time being.

This company promised to help me with my loan modification, but could not do so. They just took my money out of my bank without telling me they would continue to do so after I requested them to stop. They knew from the start they couldnt help. My lawyer said if they didnt know that then they should not be in this line of work. In addition to this they need some one who can speak english well. Not broken every three words.

January 27, 2014 [redacted] Re: UW Solutions (Loan Modification Agreement) [redacted] To Whom it May Concern:

t ,

I was recently in the process of completing a Loan Modification Agreement back on December 2, 2013.1

had spoken with UW Solutions on several occasion to complete and fax paperwork to them several

times. I had spoken with several people during the process of all of the paperwork that was processed

during that time. I spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] and they both had told me that I was

approved for $220.00 per monthly payment and not to send my regular payment to [redacted] that they were waiving the payment due to the fact that I got approved for my loan

Modification. During that process, UW Solutions had taken out monies out of my account. For the

month of December 2013 they took out $295.00 and January 2014 they took out $199.00. Then they

tell me that they couldn't do the loan Modification at this time and have taken money out of my

account. I'm not for sure how you take money out of an account and loan modification process wasn't

completed. Throughout the process I was in contact with the following:

[redacted]: [redacted]

[redacted]: [redacted] ext **

[redacted]: [redacted]

[redacted]: [redacted]

[redacted] was the person that authorized for the monies to be withdrawn from my account.

Since they will not be going forward with the Loan Modification for me I will need for my monies to be

returned to me so I can go ahead send to [redacted]. I'm a widower and I don't have that kind of money

to just give away misleading me to believe that I was approved for this modification. All that I'm asking

is for the money that they've withdrawn from my account be returned to me immediately. It shouldn't

have been taken out from start when it was never completed.

Your help with this will be more than greatly appreciated. I do look forward in hearing back from you in

regards to this.

Thank you,

[redacted]. [redacted]

We have already issued Ms. [redacted] a refund. This complaint has been resolved.

Review: They were going to modify our mortgage loan so we only had to pay 500 a month. We gave them 500 down and been paying $500 for ten months and our house is in jeopardy of foreclosure. They wont return our phone calls, wont answer their phone. They gave us a [redacted] address when they are in [redacted]. [redacted] is the man who we are getting the run around from. They signed a guarantee as well. These sharks contacted us also. How these people do not go to jail for this I will never understand. [redacted] will be getting a face to face here soon which he will be financing. This has caused stress on our kids and family which this clown needs to compensate for at this point.Desired Settlement: We wanted $500 a month payments, but I dont think they are trustworthy. So we need our money immediately and we dont have thirty days. [redacted], [redacted] his wife being locked up and u.w . solutions shut down.

Review: UW Solutions worked with me in my home remod. After the remod was obtained, I was contacted by [redacted] who said UW would work with [redacted] to reduce the mortgage payment by $200.00. She was very specific stating that she was not saying the payment reduction would be more than that but the company was very good at what it did and $200.00 would be the amount the loan would be reduced by. I wasn't about the extra money that was required to pay UW. [redacted] then had her manager speak with me who told me they saved me $800.00 a month already and were good at what they did. I explained that I could not afford the monies paid. I was told the cost would be reduced to $299.00 per month. I asked how long would this take, I was told approx 2 months. I was very clear that I would not pay beyond 2 months. UW took my money, never contacted me regarding progress in this reduction of my monthly mortgage. I called [redacted], left messages time and time again. I went through their operator as recently as today. The response is always, the person isn't available and they will provide a message. You never get a call back. this company prey on the vunerable. I want my money back as they have provided nothing showing what they did over the two month period. In addition, I asked to speak with [redacted]'s manager, the operator will not provide any transfers to the manager or provide any information stating when you can actually call back and get the person on the phone.Desired Settlement: A refund of 299.00 X 2 paid for a reduction in my mortgage. Not only do I not have a reduction, I can not reach the person assigned. This started with [redacted] in Accounting who pressures you into taking this additional service. If you still don't take the bait, they put a manager on the phone who assures you they know what they are doing and are 'good' at it. I feel totally taken advantage of. It should not take 2 months, now its 3, without being able to contact anyone there who will hear you out. Extremely dissappointing at such a vernable time when you have been out of work.

Review: UW Solutions promised us a lower house payment (under $700) charged us over 4,000,refused to address our concerns during the process, shifted our calls to other people and upped their charges considerably without providing the service advertised- our house payment is over $800 after paying them over $4000.Desired Settlement: we want our complaint sent to them and to show up on Revdex.com if someone looks them up. A partial refund would be fantastic but we do NOT want another family to get cheated like we did and are hoping the Revdex.com can help.

Mrs. [redacted] was never a client of ours. We worked with her husband [redacted] who was very happy and appreciative about the process and the service he received.

Consumer

Response:

Mr. [redacted] updated in an e mail on 3-31-2014 that says:Good Evening:I have been reviewing the complaint and responses received from UW Solutions and 2 Apply. My wife has her name on our mortgage, she signed papers with UW and 2 Apply, and helped pay them the monthly fees. To say she is not or was not a customer is not sitting lightly with me. True, I took most of the phone calls, but that is out of convenience, not that we were not both customers and on the account.I am [redacted], her husband, and would like to give more info, and answer Mr [redacted]'s response.1. We were behind in our mortgage, trying to get a work out with the Mortgage Company, who would not use e mail, or faxes, or anything but a phone call, but NEVER was able to let us speak to the "case manager", and would have us leave a voice mail. The Case Manager would be given times and a phone number to call back when we were available. BUT never called at those times. We would have loved to get things corrected, but were unable to work with them. They are now out of business I understand. Homeward was their name. although it changed often.2. 2 Apply [redacted] (wrong spelling I thing) called us unsolicited and said we qualified, they could help, and "promised" to stop foreclosure if it occured (and they did). Stop or erase the late fees, and get us a new company with a much lower percentage rate, and lower our payment to near half.3. We were assigned to [redacted] (also probably the wrong spelling) and started the long process of paperwork. And got us involved with a 599 down payment and 500 a month until the process was complete. (was supposed to be 3-5 months). Was a lot longer! [redacted] had some family medical issues, and we worked with a variety of people, until [redacted] was assigned (sorry, never could get the last name straight in my head, and am not at home with all my records). She came at the end and was not quite as helpful, but she also was trying to complete something she didn't start. [redacted] was very good at getting papers back and forth, but in the transition, we had a document lost in that time frame, and found out the new company for our mortgage, Ocwen, was mailing it UW and they were not sending it on, or able to find it. This was a snag of nearly a month in getting things final.4. Near the end when the terms of new mortgage came. We found very little saving (and it has increased twice now, to where we are at 75.00 less than before UW HELPED!), and UW still wanted 500 a month for another 2-3 months of the Trail period. This may be where MR [redacted] got his, [redacted] was very happy with us. After complaining to [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted], they all promised to take to their supervisors, and try to put a little leverage on Ocwen to make it not only more affordable, but a more permanent solution with a slightly lower rate, everyone stopped calling us back or having any info all of a sudden. Mr [redacted] did lower the payment to around 250, and then one month free, but no attempt to lower interest, or any refund for not a completely successful workout.5. [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] were all very aware that I was happy with them lowering the last few payments, and returning calls in a timely manner, and taking the fees around my paychecks. BUT they should all admit that I told them I was not completely satisfied with the final payments, interest, fees etc. 6. To make matters even worse, after the not very professional remarks to you from Mr [redacted]. Tonight I get an unsolicited call from 2 Apply trying to sign me up for help from their company. And when I asked questions, the solicitor wanted me to know that "You never really qualified for our services", and I am not sure why you were in the program. I asked him to pass along to 2 Apply and UW Solutions that I was not happy they were calling, after taking all that money from me, and not even knowing they had already signed me up.. I also asked him to pass along to Mr [redacted] that I was not happy with his response to the Revdex.com, and that since I was the customer of his record, I would be following up with the Revdex.com to continue our complaint.Thank you for your time. Contact me with any questions you may have.[redacted]

Review: I need to file a complant on a company under the name of [redacted]. I have been doing a loan modification with them sense April 2012, paid $495.00 down $399.00 first month and $299.00 for three months now. And now I cant get anyone to return my calls or help me? I received a letter from my mortgage company ([redacted] ) to vacate the property. Stating they have never been contacted by [redacted]. Have called the company ([redacted] cant get a supervisor on the phone or call me back. I contacted the Revdex.com here in Texas and they gave me your information. Please help me.Desired Settlement: And now I cant get anyone to return my calls or help me?
