I am rejecting this response because: I do not have a title for this vehicle. I paid for it & waited for the title to arrive as I was instructed. I never made any kind of confusing request. The only mention I even made was that I said to the guy prepping the paper work that I had a set of tags that I could transfer if that was cheaper or easier for the dealership. I extended that offer as a courtesy. I was told that I would get the title in my name & what I choose to do with the tags wouldn't involve the dealership. That was it... This mess is no fault of mine. I filled out the forms as requested the evening that I bought the vehicle and for three weeks I was told it was being processed. I am simply refusing to now pay $150 in order to get a title to a vehicle that I rightfully purchased. I was sent the title from the previous owner for some reason even though legally I can do nothing with it & as a licensed auto dealership in NJ, you should know this. I did not purchase the vehicle from this person. I cannot go to the state and say I did! The previous owner's title was given to Jeff F[redacted], the manager as he insisted he needed it in order to get the title transferred. At this point I'm not sure what else I can do. The temporary registration expires tomorrow & at that point, UA AUTO has done nothing to deliver the vehicle's legal title I will have a vehicle that I cannot legally prove ownership of or legally legally after tomorrow. After 4/6, I will be renting a vehicle as not to disrupt my typical work obligations. If costs are not reimbursed , expect a civil claim.

We apologize for any inconveniences or confusion. Our company policy regarding deposits is they are refundable if we cannot convey title or rightful ownership of the vehicle. If you misstated your income, failed your interview with the lending institution or were misleading in any way to influence...

the approval of your loan, it is treated as a breach of contract on your end and there are fees associated with such a case. We do everything in our power to assist you with your purchase, in this case even found additional funding options after you failed to appease the original lender, but as you wished to withdraw from the deal and had the vehicle in your possession for a total of 19 days, we feel very strongly about retaining the remainder of the deposit to cover fees such as restocking, tag cancellation, delivery costs, admin costs, wear and tear on the vehicle, mileage increase, floor plan pay off fees, contract shipping costs, etc... Thank you for understanding.

All of the proceeds go towards releasing your title from the finance company and any other expenses associated with running the dealership....

Only the bank that provided you with funding can undo your deal. Unfortunately this usually comes with great financial burden and credit history damage. The car was checked by our technicians and the faulty sensor was replaced. Please let me know if this answered your question and happy motoring!

I am rejecting this response because: Until the bank approved the loan, the vehicle should not have been in our possession. We were also asked that when we speak to the loan company to lie about the amount that we had put down. They wanted us to tell them that we had put more money down just so it could get approved. That is how the second bank "approved" the loan when the first bank did not. Because they told the second bank that we put $3,000 down when it was only $1,000. They did this without us even being aware. UA Auto Sales, please provide the refund policy.

I am rejecting this response because:  The dealer knew what they were doing, they never answered the complaint and their response is unacceptable.  The dealer knows what they did, and the finance company is investigating as we speak.  Again, the dealer knew the vehicle had mechanical issues and knew the check engine light was on before they sold it to me, and Jason l[redacted] all he did was turn off the check engine light to get the sale.   And the last response by the dealer is absolutely pathetic, the dealer failed to answer my complaint.  The dealer obviously don't care and try to pin it on me and the finance company, when the vehicle came from the dealer and their actions of fraud.  Intentionally selling a vehicle that needed numerous service issues including brakes, rotors, windshield, and the CHECK engine light.  Also I reject their response of the check engine light issue they claim was minor, I'm sure they didn't inspect the vehicle at the mercedes benz dealer, send proof.  Also the dealer sold me a vehicle from Houston, TX with valid inspection sticker and I included in my initial complaint in which the dealer failed to respond.I want a refund of the 3,000.00 debit card payment paid to the dealer.  The finance company is also investigating and already removed the creditor from my credit report permanently.  I want a full refund sent by cashier check to the address, and again the finance company has it under investigation and the finnce company has been removed from all 3 of my credit reports.  This is not my debt, I cancelled the contract.
