Response taken by phone: As she can see in the contract, after completing the payments for the braces ($3600) a payment of $is needed for the retainers and she was also charged $for the broken retainer When no further payments were received, the account was turned over to collections The collection agency now owns the debtAny addition charges must have been added by them

Am I missing something in the letter provided ? In the letter number 4. if my retainers were broken; BUT my retainers did break but it was  before the year was even up; I was even advised that.  Isnt  that why the $600 down payment is received  before treatment was even provided to be part of treatment program ? I agreed to make the listed payment of $125.00 to be paid off within 24months, which was done. So why am I getting another $600.00 bill stating I owe additional monies ? It stated in bill that it was there error for under-estimating my bill, how do you Amend a contract that was original quoted me one price.

Response taken by phone:  As she can see in the contract, after completing the payments for the braces ($3600)  a payment of $300.00 is needed for the retainers and she was also charged $150 for the broken retainer.  When no further payments were received, the account was turned over to collections.  The collection agency now owns the debt. Any addition charges must have been added by them.
