Subject: Inaccurate Reporting of a Single Late Payment by UBI Federal Credit Union

I am writing to shed light on a critical concern: the inaccurate credit reporting of a payment I made on June 23, which was labeled as over 30 days late by UBI Federal Credit Union.

Issue: Inaccurate Credit Reporting Violating FCRA Guidelines
Upon discovering that the original money order for my payment had not arrived as intended, I promptly reissued a subsequent money order dated June 23. Despite this proactive measure, UBI Federal Credit Union inaccurately reported this payment as late. This is in direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which mandates accurate credit reporting to safeguard consumer interests.

Concern: Unresponsive Communication
In my attempts to rectify this situation, the communication from UBI Federal Credit Union, particularly from President & CEO Edward E. B***, has been dismissive and unhelpful. The last response explicitly stated, "This is my last communication on this matter," thus obstructing a potential resolution.

Additional Point: Address Inaccuracy
It is worth noting that this payment delay was further complicated by mail issues related to my residence. Despite the institution being aware of this, they opted to dismiss it, deepening the issue at hand.

I urgently call upon UBI Federal Credit Union to undertake a thorough review of this isolated incident and correct the inaccurate credit report. An inability to address this singular issue effectively would lead me to question the institution's integrity and ethical standing.
