This review is for the Evanston, IL locationI took my iPhone in because it had water damage and ibreakufix said it would cost $if they could fix it and nothing if they couldn'tInevitably they could not fix the phone and of course charged me nothingHowever when I took it to the Apple store right afterwards Apple said there were parts and screws missing from the inside of the phoneThese guys are dishonest so be careful or you might have the same happen to youI wouldn't have known unless the Apple store told me Very bad business practice but I guess they thought they wouldn't get caught and they figured the phone didn't work anyway so why not steal parts for their benefit Apple said if the parts were there they could have at least offered me a replacement deal
They come across genuine and friendly, commit to getting things fix on a first come first serve basis. They checked to make sure they had the correct item to fix my item, and then I was told that my item would be fixed in 3-4 hours and they would call me when it's done. I left and came back about 3 hours later and decided to wait (I didn't check in) and sat there watching the barrage of people coming and going and their items getting fixed or they even attempted to fix a couple items. Then they came out and told me that my item wouldn't be done today and that I would have to wait 2 more days before it could be fixed because they had to go home for the day. They got too busy and someone went home sick. Lack of commitment to the customer that came in earlier in the morning is unacceptable. If someone went home sick, call the customer and let them know as soon as you can rather than waiting til the end of the day and saying, sorry, just don't have time now.
