They don't save you money they have contracts with contractors that provide bidsYou don't need ubuildit to do it yourself and can certainly easily locate contractors as cheap and often cheaper than ubuildit that do better workThe good contractors don't need agreements with ubuildit they often have more than enough work loadDon't waste your moneyIt's easy without themIf you do use them read that contract it doesn't give you any security it only protects them and once you sign you owe the moneyNo backing out!

UbuildIt is a great company...they did such a great job on remodeling my house, price is very reasonable and people is very friendly..I would recomemded to anyone who want to remodel their house

It really wasn't even that hard or took a lot of time I can tell you from experience - Follow the process and make good value decisions You can get the home you always wanted too I hae and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family Thank you [redacted] for everything you have done for us

They do not save you money, actually the very opposite Budgets provided to the bank are wrought with mathematical errors and unrealistic building and materials cost....so you are doomed to failure ie being over budget from the very beginningThey have a list of preferred vendors that they recommend to you as being licensed, bonded, and providing volume discounts to their customers One of their preferred vendors has caused us well over $14,000+ dollars in damages, uncompleted work, missing equipment, and a having to have our plumbing completed torn out and started over HVAC is still in shambles and not functioning properlyWe are now months over on our project and struggling with resources to fix what was damaged, uncompleted, and needing to be replacedThey are under agreement with you to consult, oversee, and address issues with contractors which they evidence by signing off on their own provided punch lists etc None of this happens In fact of the consultant visits along this process road, the only time our consultant was scene was to collect checks totaling over $11k In fact during the disagreement with their vendor my personal text messages sent to my consultant while in distress and being verbally abused during a phone call, were forwarded to the problematic vendor, thus further causing hostility because my consultant was busy with someone else When the Vendor showed up a my residence and threatened me, my consultant did show up a short time later promising to make the situation better by withholding payment that the vendor was doing on side jobs for them etc This was after we were threatened and extorted out of an additional $(we were told to not put a stop pay on that check by our consultant so that they could get a lien waiver from him) We have yet to see any resolution on this matter or further help from UBuild It to make good on reimbursement of damages and/or reimbursement of consulting fees for a service that was not provided Just more promises and no solutions, thus we are along with a bank are left holding the bag on what is now turning out to be a horrific end to what was supposed to be our dream home You are better off alone and saving yourself over $11,000+ for consulting you will not receive

have left a message on clients voice mail to try to work through issues. Although as stated in contract entered into on 4/22/14 by complaintant and Ubuildit as a residential construction consulting company. We provide direction in the construction process the client selects and hires the trades. Per contract we do not warrant any labor or materials. Negotiation or mediator roles are also not required by our office per contract. However we will utilize reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving the issue.

In response the customer [redacted] signed a contract with us for our construction consultant services on 10/11/12. The house was to be for her father of which she was handling. We have two phases and the first is a 5 step process...

which is the planning phase. We completed the process which the client decides which 2 sides of the triangle to cover and the 3rd is dictated by the two they choose. Further explanation can be given if need be. [redacted] already had a plan and a budget goal of 150K. The process with the features and all other building components that effected the cost put the budget in the 160K's. We have completed the planning phase and were moving to the construction phase but the land issues arose at that time so it never went to construction. Our fee collected was to get the planning phase completed and that was complete. Our contract that [redacted] signed states on page 5 of 10 paragraph 3 that " all payments are nonrefundable". I recently talked to her about that over email. They paid for the planning phase and based on the features, size of home, money and land issues at that time that they were not going to build. We are under contract for 3 years as per the signed contract but they have chosen to build with another party. On page 5 paragraph 4 they owe of 75% of the final fee if they choose to terminate the contract prior to completion. I can send copies of the signed contract if need be.

We are moving to small claims with the audio of [redacted] saying he could build my fathers home, exactly like we wanted it, for in the $150,000, or he "would eat the fees". I am erecting a billboard by their office to warn people in conjunction with the court effort. Please advise them of this.
