I was having a lot of stress about moving from Santa Monica California to Chicago Illinois- Under pressure with my company and my wife had health problems- So happy I found Executive Moving & Storage- They communicated with me every step of the journeyThey packed everything loaded and unpacked us and unloaded in ChicagoFunny thing is we actually ended up paying less than the estimate- Great people to deal with, I highly recommend this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This was the worst moving company/experience we could have imagined. I’ll give you the highlights of our experience.
• The movers showed up almost 30 hours late
• There was little/no communication from Executive. Every time we called we would get the run-around, no one knew where the truck was or why it was late, were told someone would call us back, etc.
• It took 3 (very slow and unprofessional) men 5 hours to unload our apartment. For comparison, it took 3 men 2 hours to load it a year before.
• After everything was loaded we were charged almost $900 over our additional quote. We later found out they low quote people on purpose so their price is the best.
• We were told it would take 7-10 days for our stuff to reach its destination. It took 20.
• Again, no one knew why our stuff hadn’t left yet. Every time we called (almost daily) we were told it was about to leave. Or no one answered. The dispatch guys, [redacted] and [redacted], were so difficult to get ahold of I eventually had to threaten to call the police to get them to tell us where our stuff was.
• When our stuff finally did arrive the damage was unbelievable. Dents in and chunks of wood missing out of our wood furniture the movers wrapped, plastic bins to mutilated the lids no longer fit, a bedframe so destroyed it couldn’t be put back together, a bookshelf that never arrived, etc. Well over $1,000 in damage
• We also had over $1,000 in extra expenses for our travels because our stuff was gone for so long, but Executive refused to acknowledge that they were at all in the wrong or that they were deceitful in their business practices. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A NIGHTMARE.
• After filing a claim with their insurance company, Executive tried to settle (8months later) by compensating us $116. But we would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and promise never to tell anyone how awful our experience with them had been. We opted to refuse the money and warn as many people as we possibly could. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Appalling customer service. CS does not answer phone; won't return calls/emails unless you are constant nuisance, and then they will get back to you maybe a week later. Literally told our move "was not priority" after they collected down payment. Missed pickup by 24 hours, with NO notification. No updates on delivery after pickup, despite multiple calls and emails over the course of 3 weeks. Price of move went up nearly $200 after being told we had a conservative (on the high end) estimate to ensure no price increase. Items were damaged during loading, notes on boxes about being "fragile" or "this end up" were completely ignored.
Revdex.com posted rating on website is listed as A-, when here it is clearly B. Technically fraud?

This company is unethical, to put it mildly. Customer service is non-existent. When finally able to reach someone, because no one there will initiate or return a call, they either lie or pass the buck. When I finally received my household goods,(picked up 09/24, delivered 11/3!) a box of artwork was missing. I called while the truck was still there. I was told it must still be in the warehouse, then one of the boxes must have had 2 stickers and one came off, (the movers packed and listed 10 boxes in two different places on the forms). No one will call. Today was told via text to file a claim. When I went through the nine boxes that were delivered, it was obvious that they had been opened and then re-sealed. I am missing the most valuable artwork of course. Then the person I only seem to be able to communicate with via text says do I have photos of the "said artwork". The same person who said it was in the warehouse now implies it doesn't exist,rather than admit it's lost or stolen.
