I distinctly remember this person as his story of how lines appeared changed ever so slightly every time I spoke with him.
[redacted] came into the store for a repeat repair as he explained to me over the phone. I am the ONLY one that answers the phone. He explained that...

his phone had lines in the LCD and asked if it was covered under the warranty after he told me that he set it on his night stand and in the morning lines had just appeared. (Phone conversation prior to coming in for the appointment).
My warranty as explained to everyone that asks as well as explained on my website clearly:
Lifetime Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects on parts and a 30 day warranty on labor. [redacted]WARRANTY VOID IF SCREEN BROKEN IN ANY WAY[redacted]WE DO NOT REFUND ON ANY BROKEN CRACKED SCREENS[redacted] Manufacturer defects would be the screen not responding to your touch.
When he came in for the appointment my assistant logged the phone in as I was busy with a prior appointment. After looking at the phone I explained to him that the only way to get lines in the LCD is from an impact or phone being dropped. If the LCD was a defect it would have showed up immediately when it was repaired back in MAY. He stated that nobody else dropped it and he didn't drop it or hit it because it was in his bag all day prior and the bag never moved.
I, (having been in this business for 5-6 years and having over 5000 repairs in the community with NO complaints am willing to work with everyone, even those that don't understand I am a professional at what I do and know how screens/LCDs are damaged. Every so often I get a person that just doesn't understand and thinks they deserve everything. For [redacted] I decided to only charge him for the part and not the labor even though this was NOT covered under warranty. For this and other obvious reasons I will not refund another penny.
