Copy of invoice dated 9/14/2017 (after move-out) for carpet replacement.The carpet was replaced due to damage beyond normal wear and tear and prorated based on the 5. year life expectancy of the carpet. The balance of $925.80 is valid and was paid in full by Customer on October 5, 2017.

 [redacted]This doesn't make sense why would I apply for a 2nd apartment after I got denied for the first one. I was told online to contact the leasing office after I did the first application and I did and then the lady told me that my application couldn't be ranned because I stated a eviction do if that's the case then why did yet run it. Then I was told to go back and do the application over this time not to check yes for the eviction so thats what I did. Glad I recorded the conversation and screen shot the application and emails so I will see this company in court I was already told I have a good case because why run the first application after telling me it couldn't be because I stated a eviction and why would I apply again and pay again after getting denied the the first time the leasing office told me to go back and do the application I have that message on screen shot this is a way to scam me I can see if they were trying to charge me for one application fee even though the application shouldn't of been processed if there policy says if you say you have an eviction  it cannot be processed I have that policy as proof and also why process a 2nd if I got denied the first time what sense is that.

I am writing today because I filled out an application for The [redacted] Apartments in [redacted]. I have since decided not to move into the apartment, but was told that I cannot be refunded my deposit because I was only given 3 days to cancel from the date of my application's acceptance. This is a bit ridiculous - given that I signed my application in June and I was not supposed to be moving in until September. Moreover, I have not yet moved in, therefore the security deposit (which would be used in the event of damage to the rental unit) could not have been used/depleted. I am writing to request that my $275 is refunded to me ASAP.Desired Settlement: Refund of $275.
