This is our letter in response to Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted] ( [redacted] I would like to first make reference that this is the first time that we have received notice fro Revdex.com on this caseJason ***, had there Hummer Hin our service department on 04/28/with three concerns and they are as followed,1st there was a grinding ..rubbing noise when mostly turning to the right2nd can hear rubbing noise when driving3rd squeak noise when driving slowlyOur Technician found that there was a loose hub bearing on the left front axle seal leaking on left front, right inner tie rod was loose and there was oil leaks form the engine and transmission and tires were in need of replacing, we called and gave estimate to repair what we had seen from our inspection item by item.Our Technician felt the rubbing - grinding noise the customer was hearing was result of the Hub Bearing, and replacing the hub bearing would have corrected all three concerns noted on this visit.Mrs***, requested a copy of the estimate to be text message to her so she could discuss the need repairs with her husband, Mrs***, called back and gave us authorization to replace the inner tie rod and align the front suspension only.When our technician was done with the alignment and went to start the vehicle it was very slow to crank over (which was the first time we had any problems with the vehicle cranking over to start) our technician charged the battery and tested the alternator fr voltage and amperage output the results of test were that the alternator was weak per the GM specsand the battery failed the load testingWe called Mrs [redacted] and told her about the starting concern and gave her the estimate to replace the battery and alternator, she responded that they never had any concern wit it starting in the past and declined to have us replace either item.Mrs [redacted] stated they would come pick up there vehicle witch we had to jump start when she arrivedI have enclosed the copy of our repair order at time of write up and the inspection report and our complete invoice.Please let me know if there is any other information needed.Jeff LoucksGeneral ManagerUftring Weston Chevrolet Cadillac
