I am rejecting this response because: I purchased the product by using my credit card directly from the Clean Republic web site I have never been a PAYPal supporter, and I was never aware if they used Paypal for this transaction The dispute was issued due to not receiving timely response I have suffered two different product failuresThey attempted to resolve the first failure (broken clips resulting in falling merchandise and break of merchandise) Upon receiving the second kit from them, the bettery shorted and wire deformed so as to not allow me to connect and charge the kit I returned the second kit within the day return policy, at my own expense over $ Again, PAYPAL was never known to me to have anything to do with this purchase and I challenge their assertion that Paypal is holding up this refund

come to this point.We are doing everything we can to send [redacted]'s money back to him;-We are working closely with PayPal to make sure this customer's money is returned via the channel he has requested. There is no option to send him money via a standard refund channel because he closed that channel himself by officially filing a chargeback between PayPal and his own bank. The delays in his own money returning to him are caused by the chargeback process he himself activated. -We have informed him from the time of purchase about the details of our return shipping, warranty, and refund policies.He has built a history of being abusive to the physical product and our customer service system;-There was no defect with the customers battery design. Thousands of customers use this same design. The only way the battery 'clips' can break is under abusive or abnormal usage conditions. When the original battery was returned to us we found that the 'clips' were not damaged in any way, but instead they were being miss used.-The use of the chargeback process to receive a 'refund' is an abuse of Clean Republic's merchant account policies. Chargeback processes are intended to protect consumers when they have been the victim of fraud. No normal time cycle was given to Clean Republic to review the situation and issue a standard refund. Instead, an abusive chargeback was filed in a non-fraud situation, even after this customer was informed that he would receive a refund.He has put false statements on official record with the Revdex.com;-The customer's inability to receive cash back yet at this time is no fault of Clean Republic, as he falsely implies. We have no control over his own chargeback process with his bank. Had there been no chargeback filed we could have transferred his money to him weeks ago.-The claim that the 2nd issue of a battery plug short creating a "dangerous situation" is also false. There is an identified problem with a small number of our charge plugs that can cause a small melted patch and cause the charger not to fit. Not only has this issue been remedied already in production, but simple and easy fixes are available for any customer who has the problem. The problem does not present a danger to the battery or to the user. We offered our fix as a resolution to the issue he encountered and he declined. We are doing everything we can to send his money back to him;-Clean Republic is doing everything it can to work with the customer's financial institution inside the restrictions of the chargeback process he has confined us to in order to make sure his original payment is returned.-The text of this complaint should not be publicly posted because it would unfairly distort the reputation of Clean Republic, a company with thousands of happy customers using the exact same product, because of the abusive and impatient behavior of one person.Sincerely, Mark [redacted]Clean Republic Customer Service
