This customer complaint has been settled and resolved to customer`s satisfaction on 04/**/2016, we felt it is necessary for our side to be heard as well and have a response to the complaint within the time allowedCustomer purchased the vehicle on a years financing contract with $
down paymentseveral days after the purchase he called us of a loose lug nut on LR wheel, immediately we sent a tow truck at our expense to his home where the car was parked at to take it to a repair facility in westbury, LR tire along with the stud and lug nuts were replaced to new, we paid for parts and labor about $including the towing charge Approxa week after that we received another call for LF wheel having the same issue, vehicle was taken to the service station, this time we asked the technician to replace all the studs and lug nuts on the vehicle to a genuine GM parts so there wouldn`t be a problem againWe paid for parts and labor $About a week later while I was out of the country on a medical leave, *** *** tries to reach me 2:30AM , naturally office being closed he then calls my salesman`s personal cell phone at about 2:45AM saying the car had noise on the wheel again, he got scared so he left the vehicle in the middle of the street somewhere in queens about miles from his home in LI and said to my salesman “*** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** **”I got the phone call while overseas, immediately made several phone calls with difficulty, sent a tow truck to the address given to us to find out the car is not there, towing company suspected that police had impound the vehicle because it was simply abandonedWe paid $for this tow service for a no showFrom that day on every day including from my hospital bed I was in communication with the customer and his wife along with my office and my wifedifferent occasion my wife with our kids at home had to go to queens with *** trying to get the car back from impound yard but because I needed to be present they wouldn`t release the car to themI returned to the States weeks later and same day of my arrival went to queens with *** to the impound, they still wouldn`t release the vehicle, we found out it was sent to Suffolk county impound yardMy final word with the consumer was that whatever the problem is in the car I`m willing to fix it properly but he refused saying he wants out of the 2Yrs finance contract and wants his money back, I offered different vehicle within the same range he declined, I told him with the first installment he had already made , total $ he gave us is $1850, I gave him another $asking him to wait for the title to arrive from Albany which usually takes about to weeks, by me calling Albany frequently I had the process expedited so he got the title sooner, when he came to my office to do a final settlement he asked for all his expenses to be paid, we reminded him that technically we are voiding his yrs obligation on a loan he signed also paying him back $is what we have on the table, he got upset, asking for more, went back to his job , came back mins later with his aggressive boss, cops had to come to intervene, his boss made the phone calls here and there including Revdex.com , I personally told his boss that he does not know our side of the story but he wouldn`t listen, ignored us
About days later I received the call from the customer`s wife that they are okay with what I had offered and want to do a final settlementAttached are the copies of the checks and his own notarized satisfaction letterThank you
