Ultimate Construction

We contracted with Ultimate Construction (Ryan H) to put a metal roof on our residence.Paid him half of contract to secure materials with the other half payable upon completion and satisfaction of said roof. Since this has not happened Mr. H has not received final payment. (Somewhere beyond this website he is also listed as a roofing contractor) He started off by not delivering the product (metal roofing) on time. He did not provide the correct material claiming that he had had a wreck and had to get alternate material. We never approved of an alternate type and or color of material either verbal or written. In the contract is stipulated a time frame by which he would be finished, which Mr H missed by over 2 weeks. Without going into a lot of detail about how his work is not being acceptable or even within proper work practice or as his contract states performed in a workmanlike manner, the fact is that Mr H had to keep going back fix his mistakes (which he did but yet again not not using proper procedures but quick unacceptable fixes, it got to the point that the roofing material was damaged beyond the point of being able to be considered a new guaranteed roof. (all poor workmanship and mistakes which were numerous are well documented with pictures) Even as of today the roof is not fixed or properly installed. I have had other licensed roofing contractors on the roof to get their opinions and options. As well as a certified housing inspector to go over the roof as well as the house. There was no way that he could pass off on the roof. I am in the process of selling the house and cannot offer the customer a new roof with warranty on materials or workmanship or any guarantee the Ryan H aka Ultimate Consturction would even come back to fix it.
