[email protected] via yahoo.com 3:PM to me Dear Ms***, In regards to a recent complaint filed by Ms*** ***, my findings are as follows; Ms*** stopped in our service facility
with a complaint of an oil leak, which she stated at the time was poor quality work from a competitors shop, we repaired this issue free of charge (01/05/16) She then asked for her exhaust to be repaired, which we did for the price she was quoted at a competitors shop as well(01/16/16) She was so happy with the repair that she sent a text message to one of the mechanics thanking him for the repair. Ms*** returned to our store approximately days later complaining of loud exhaustWhen the car was inspected it was found the opposite side of the exhaust was leaking, she was shown where the leak was, and given a quote for the additional workShe declined the repair, stated that she was going to take the car back to the dealer to see if they would fix the problem under warranty or recall. One month after the repair Ms*** returned to our service facility demanding a refund stating we had not repaired the issue correctly, according to a third party, who in turn repaired what Ms *** stated we did incorrectly at no chargeAs this was in multiple service centers other than ours after our repair, we have no idea what was done to the vehicle elsewhere. After reviewing all of the information, talking with all employee's, one customer who was present during this last visit, and reviewing the closed circuit video system, all of the employees acted with respect towards Ms*** even when she raised her voice, and refused to let us look at her car. Any issues which may arise from work completed at any shop must be repaired at the shop it was performed, if a customer decides to go elsewhere that cannot be refundedHowever, any service facility will inform customers that repairs to existing parts have no warranty, especially used exhaust systems due to rust and fatigue, the parts should be replaced with new. I'm sorry Ms*** feels the way she does about her last visit, but I see nothing that was done unprofessionally or inappropriately, however it was brought to my attention That Ms*** threatened my employees and the police had to be calledI will pursue any and all threats, slander or inappropriate actions with the authorities and justice system, all individuals including employees deserve a safe work environment.PresidentConfident Car

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowReading this response sends me into a whirl of disgustA lot of incorrect information and accusations are being made just to make sure their company gets cleared.
First of all, let me clear the air here and say that I never came in complaining of an oil leakBecause I knew someone that worked there, I came to get a quote for the exhaust pipeAs I was talking with him about the repairing of the exhaust pipe repair and we got to talking about an oil change I got from another place and when I left I had a leak in my oil. THIS WAS JUST PURE CONVERSATION WITH a person I knew AND NO ONE REPAIRED ANYTHINGNice of them to switch my words around and use them against me.
When I returned to fix the exhaust pipe and it appeared to be “fixed”, YES! I was excited and drove off happyThis lasted a couple weeks and then I was back again with the original issueI was very surprised that the second side of the pipe was broken so quickly so I got a second opinion at Lexus, who confirmed the 3rd party’s observationThe dealer didn’t even understand that kind of low quality exhaust pipe repair and I have the person’s name and number to back it upIt wasn’t welded together! It was just held together with a ring, a couple screws and putty! I am not trying to start any arguments I just want my car fixed properly and I don’t appreciate being taken advantage ofLet’s discuss the fact that Confident Car Care mentioned “Refused to let us look at her car.” I NEVER raised my voice EVERI may have been surprised, but I never raised my voiceOn the opposite side, I was greeted with screams and accusations in return right off the batWhat happened to customer service and treating people like human beings? I went in the shop asking them to put the car on their lift!! They said they would but after a long debate about the situation, Confident Car Care must’ve gotten frustrated and asked me to leave without wanting to check the car after allAll while screaming at meIf they are such a Confident Car company, why weren’t they “confident” enough to put the car on the lift? This is a red flag right thereI was so disgusted that when I went to work THE NEXT DAY I mentioned my experience to a couple co-workers who then took it upon themselves to text message trying to help me and trying to get my money back saying they would come the following day to talkAfter hearing this Confident Car Care felt threatened and they were the ones that said they’d call the copsI NEVER threatened anyone or intended on itThat wasn’t my fault my co-workers took it upon themselves to act on my behalf with good intentionsI had no idea until I myself received a phone call from the policeI had nothing to do with this, I have to admit I was a little bit disappointed with their actionsThe only hazard to your workplace is the way you treat your customersIf you are worried about having a SAFE work environment for your employees you should start with the customer servicePlease for yourself look at the review on other websites (YELP) to see the negative comments directed to your companyI know this is a long shot going back and forth with Confident Car Care but at least I can say that I triedIf they want to have this on their conscience, at least my integrity is clean with my words*** ***
