Chris had done a previous plumbing job to repair a leak in our bathroom and did a great jobThe plumbing was old and his work was nothing short of perfection replacing the piece that was worn out His work and precision reminded me of the surgical skill I had witnessed in the medical field A second major job involved two days of work replacing our rotting and seeping cast iron waste pipes in the basementThis was major and I can tell you Chris and his crew did a superb job, thorough and precise, with clean up at the end of the jobHe also replaced our kitchen plumbing as wellDo not hesitate to call Ultimate General ContractingIt is so hard to find good plumbers and contractors today with integrity who do such a thorough jobChris is a perfectionistI cannot praise his team enoughNeedless to say, Chris will be doing some remodeling in our home in the future So glad I found him! He is very reasonable in pricing also

In response to the complaint made by Mr*** *** I would like to address a few thingsFirst and foremost, I would like to say that my experience with Mr*** was very unprofessionalThe job he
speaks of in this complaint was probably the worst experience of my careerFrom the very beginning, it was the most unorganized situation I’ve ever dealt withWhen I first talked to him about the job, *** said the material he ordered from cheapstairparts.com would either be paint or stain readyI assure you none of this was the caseAll of the parts were not even correct*** said that his customers had the stain they wanted to use, and we had to get it from themThe customers decided they did not like the stain once it was on the product purchased by ***We tried to contact *** about the matterWe tried phone calls, texts, and emailsIn fact, we tried to reach him using more than one phone numberI started wondering at that point what I had gotten myself intoHe had to have known it was about his customer, because we clearly stated that it wasWhen contact was made, I said to him “You’re a tough guy to get ahold of.” When *** responded “Well Yeah, you were blowing my phone up like crazy”, I didn’t know what to sayWhen we asked him what we should do for his customer and material, he basically said to figure it outHe obviously didn’t want bothered with itWe paid guys to not only get his wood railings ready, but also stain them with the stain chosen by his customerWe then put time and money into trying to help themWe even took it to Sherwin Williams to see if they could help us achieve the color they wanted since it was already stainedWe tried once and they did not like itWe then tried another time with a stain we purchased and they still didn’t like it*** *** was no help during any of this, and they were his customersAt this point I was beyond frustratedFor the price that was talked about in the beginning of the job, this project was impossibleWhen I told him I was going to cut my losses on his project, he said it was not his problem
Basically what it comes down to is this; In money that was paid for labor, travel, gas, supplies and other expenses, his job cost me approximately $2000.00. Based on the fact that the material was wrong, the customer did not know what they wanted, and he was no help, I decided this was not my problem to haveFrom the beginning to the time I stopped on the project, months had passed
Although we spoke about this job, and there were some emails sent, I would like to say that at NO POINT with *** Home Improvement did I sign a formal contract, nor did I receive any paymentsBased on that and my personal experience with Mr*** ***, I made the decision to terminate my service for himDue to my unpleasant account with such an unprofessional individual, I feel I should be compensated for all the expenses I put into his jobI feel $is fair considering all the time put forth on a job he obviously didn’t care much aboutI certainly learned my lesson when it comes to operationg on “good faith”Some people will certainly take advantage of others if given the opportunity
In my personal opinion, Mr*** was not only unfair to me, but his customer as wellMy customers are my number one priority, I always do whatever it takes to make sure they are satisfied, and I feel every contractor should feel the same way

Do not hesitate to call Ultimate General Contracting. It is so hard to find good plumbers and contractors today with integrity who do such a thorough job. Chris is a perfectionist. I cannot praise his team enough. Needless to say, Chris will be doing some remodeling in our home in the future. So glad I found him! He is very reasonable in pricing also.
