Review: A contract was signed to install a door on back porch. Deposit was given & contractor never came to install the door & has texted that he will refund the $400 deposit but has not done so. This has been going on for 6 weeks. He has basically stolen $400.Desired Settlement: A refund of my deposit of $400

Review: We engaged Ultimate to install seamless gutters at a cost of $3200. The gutters were hung incorrectly - they did not line up with the roof, were pitched incorrectly, were not hung correctly, and leaked in every location. Our basement flooded in the first rainstorm after installation. We requested that the gutters be fixed. Workers came but did not fix the issue. Two other licensed contractors examined the gutters - they were hung incorrectly in that the straps were punched through the roof shingles - we can't remove them because they will leave holes in the shingles. They were not secured underneath. In many places, they were hung so far from the roof line that rain simply sheeted off the roof, missing the gutters completely. In others, the gutters were higher than the roofline. In addition, they leaked at every downspout and seam. Both contractors agreed that the work was so shoddy and incorrect that there was no way to repair them, and I ended up replacing them in order to avoid more water damage in my basement. I wrote Ultimate Construction, asking for a refund but got no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the $3200 I paid Ultimate for the gutters and installation refunded to me immediately. I had given them an opportunity to fix the gutters and they did not fix them, and I needed to replace them to avoid more damage to my foundation and roof.

Review: THIS COMPANY CAME IN AND TOOK OVER AFTER PREVIOUS CONTRACTOR WALKED OUT. THEY WERE TO FINISH REPAIRING INSIDE DAMAGE TO WALLS FROM LEAKS IN ROOF AND RENOVATE BATHROOM IN RENTAL APARTMENT AND REMOVE ALL TRASH INCLUDING OLD BATHTUB. DURING RENOVATION THE TOILET TANK COVER DISAPPEARED HAVE BEEN REQUESTING NEW ONE SINCE "DECEMBER" ALSO HAVE BEEN REQUESTING REMOVAL OF CONSTRUCTION GARBAGE AND OLD TUB ALSO SINCE "DECEMBER" NOTHING DONE. DO NOT RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS OR TEXT MESSAGES AND IF DO ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE AS TO WHY CANNOT/DID NOT SHOW UP. ALSO DOES NOT WRITE UP BILLS FOR ANY ADDITIONAL WORK - JUST TELLS YOU WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AND COST - YOU HAVE NO RECORDS FOR YOUR RECORDS.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.Desired Settlement: TOTAL AMOUNT OF $100,000 WHICH MY SISTER PAID FOR REPAIRS TOTAL AMOUNT OF $2,300,00 FOR LOSS OF TWO MONTHS RENT
