From: Bruce R*** Sent: Thursday, December 1, 11:AM To: info Subject: Case ID number *** The installation for the customer case number *** was scheduled for installation on 1/7/2016. During the installation the customer perceived that the
color of carpet was not what they had ordered and stopped the installation. We had only gotten started in two rooms and were waiting for the customer to verify color with the place of purchase and then we would return to finish the installation. The resolution with regards to color has not been resolved to date so we do not have a schedule date to return and finish the installation. This is where the issue began with our companyWe had every expectation of returning quickly and finishing the installation, buttoning up all loose ends and removing the old carpet and pad. As a company we except responsibility for not resolving the customers issue sooner given the fact that the installation did not resume as quickly as we had anticipated. The carpet and pad was picked up and disposed of on 11/22/ I appreciate this feedback which allows us to examine our procedures and look for better ways to create a positive customer experience in the future Sincerely: Ultimate Home Services LLC

The only reason I am accepting this is because two young ladies from ***s worked hard to get it doneI wanted UHS to pay the entire amount as it was their mistake that caused it, but ***s pressed me to take the dealI will never do business with UHS again and will never recommend them to anyoneThe most unprofessional business I have ran across in this field in the years I have been doing this

We installed vinyl flooring for this customer. Her contract is with [redacted]'s not with Ultimate Home Services, so, [redacted]'s would provide any compensation required. That said, when we inspected her complaint we found there were no installation errors, but we could attempt to help with the parts of her...

subfloor telegraphing through the vinyl, at no extra cost to her. Attached is the inspection report we sent to [redacted]'s explaining what we found. The customer refused to allow us to come back. This contractor quoted one week, but took three weeks and still has not completed the work, and has not returned since he received payment.The requested work:Remove popcorn texture from all ceilings, mud allceilings and sand down, paint all ceilings, repair and patch walls, paint all walls, remove 3 quarter wall, build custom shelves, stain and paint custom shelves, remove one door and sheet rock cover it, cut out one door, install 3 doors front door, laundry door, and new wall door,Payment was made by cashers check in the amount of $3000.00 on the 25th of July. Once he started the work he stated there was more work than he expected and needed more time, then his crew quit on him and work just creep along for the next 2 weeks. It became apparent he was not equipped to have done the job in a timely fashion. The job is about 75% done, and during the last walk through, we my wife and I pointed out the items needing the most attention. From that point nothing else was done. They made an attempt to clean up before departing, but left cigarettes and trash on the lawn left floors dirty and damaged. Most of the trim was unpainted the new doors weren't painted, outlet not replaced into wall. All light, fan and wall fixtures have paint left on them. During the removal of a wall his workers cut power lines running to an outlet which may have shorted out a outlet in the same line (he stated that this issue was resolved). Desired SettlementThe requested work:paint all trim, repair and patch walls, replace wall light outlet.At this point I'm not sure he will return. His statement to me was he has lost so much money in this job. And via text he hasn't responded with a time frame other than, I have a new job and just bare with me.Have tried to complete what we can but may still need a hand. We are open to hear from him. But have a date line to be out of our rental, which has come and gone once due to these delays.Business Response Hello... This is not one of our customers. We do not have any records for this individual and we do not do this type of work. Thank you.
