Ultimate Nails

Review: While visiting a friend in Buellton, California, I went to Ultimate Nails on Saturday, April 12th, for a pedicure and maincure with gel fill. This service took three hours versus the one hour they originally told me it would be. The pedicure polish was inferior to any other I've ever had, with ridges in the polish. The manicure showed chips and cracks. That evening at my friend's home the gel fills turned 'rubber' like and fell off, loosing five gel-fill from my nails. It was after business hours and I could not return to the salon for repair. I did call and left a voice message on their business phone. I still have not received a return call to address my issue.Unfortunately I had to leave on Sunday morning at 6 am in order to be back to Fresno.At my request, my friend went back to Ultimate Nails on Sunday afternoon to request, at least, a partial refund. I paid $85. for that service. She was told they do not provide cash refunds and that I would have to come back for a refill. It was explained that I live three hours away and do not always make it to this area. She was informed that that was their only recourse--to come back to the store and have a refill.I could understand if I lived in the area. Ultimate Nails' management should make allowances for people in my situation and just refund, at least, a partial amount.Thank you,Kris SonsDesired Settlement: I paid $85. for this inferior service and feel the full amount should be reimbursed.
