On January 1st I was contacted from the customer about a soot problem after installing a new systemShe stated she had a heatingCompany look at it then a chimney cleaning company and was unhappy with all.I Advised her to make sure to have her Heat looked at by a company and gave her a name (***) she contacted them and they asked if she sleeved he chimney when this furnace was installed she told them she had not and no permits were pulled when the change out was done so they didn't wanna get in the middleWhen we cleaned the ducts which could only be started @pm she was present for 1/the job as she had a Dig we had to move from room to room.There was no sign of Soot in the system and she pad weeks later and had no complaintsAbout months later she called screaming and demanded I come back in which we scheduled a Friday @pm and she never showed up and when I called she said she had to work.I tried numerous times to go back and help but she just wanted money back which leads me to believe there is no mor problem because she also had lawyer Friends contact me and we both agreed she should let me back to rectify what she claims we missed.Thank youGary S***

We serviced Mrs Johnstons unit on the hottest day off the year she repeatedly emailed all morning trying to get me to tell her exactly what time I was gonna be thereWe arrived in the afternoon diagnosed a faulty damper and serviced her indoor and outdoor unit charged her $for service and
$for damper in which she tried to get both of my men to discount the part$was my price no mark up what so ever.when she called 2-weeks later and said maybe it's not quit as cold upstairs as I'd like I told her maybe she should call another company seeing how she wasn't happy with a very good priceThat's when she she said that I was being aggressiveShe does not or never has had a Contract with me which is strongly suggested for A/c she simply wants to stomp her foot and get what she wants when she wants itI can give her $back as long as the part can be removed I will not give $ back for a replaced part.Her husband also contacted me and said he would drag this thru the social media and Revdex.comWe maintain an A plus rating because we take Pride in our customer relations but refuse to be bullied by threats from irassional people there are plenty of companies they can callNot all relationships between customer and service company work put but it doesn't mean you get your $ back due to design of system

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10089740 and could be satisfied with this arrangement but have a concern about how this would work. We are happy to give the part back, it was removed already so that the damper could be properly fixed by another company. How will this exchange take place? I will gladly mail it to the business address with a tracking number once I receive the check or mail it to the Revdex.com if they can complete the transaction. Please let me know how this would work.

Review: We hired Gary from Ultra Clean Air to repair our A/C unit. I emailed him and explained our problem - no air flow in the upstairs, too much airflow in the downstairs. I suggested that the issue might be the damper. Gary sent 2 workers to our house who assessed that it was the damper and decided to replace the motor. Gary came for a short period, called about the part and left. The workers came back, installed the motor and while they were testing it, I mentioned that I still did not feel a lot of airflow in the upstairs, they assured me that was normal and it would cool down in a few hours. It did not cool down upstairs and downstairs continued to blast so nothing was really fixed. I emailed Gary and asked him to come back - Long story short, he was VERY aggressive on the phone and made me very uncomfortable and did not want to come back and check out the problem. We had another company come in who showed us that no only did they give us the wrong motor (the motor they gave us was for the downstairs damper which was square and they tried to attach it to the upstairs damper which was round) and on top of that, it was not even connected so no wonder it wasn't working but since you can't put a round peg in a square hole it never would have worked. The workers drilled holes in the plastic cover to try to make it fit where it didn't go. 't Gary had come back, he might have been able to see this and rectify it but instead, we wasted $275 on him and then had to pay someone else to actually fix the problem. My A/C works great now, there were several problems that required attention but that motor was not one. I want my mom back. We got completely scammed, they should not be allowed to due business in CT, it is appalling the work that was done. We're happy to give the motor back since it did nothing.Desired Settlement: I want a refund. We gave Gary the opportunity to come back and make it right and he didn't want to. He was so aggressive on the phone that would not feel comfortable with him returning to my home.

Review: I currently live in [redacted] Condominiums in Shelton, CT - We were advised by our Board to have our Dryer Vents inspected and cleaned as well as our Chimneys by September 2013. I immediately called to schedule an appointment with Ultra Clean and made an appointment for a Saturday of which date I do not remember but it was relatively close to when we got notice from the Board. They came and inspected my dryer vent as well as cleaned my chimney and I misplaced my invoice. When I called Gary to ask him for help on this in tracking down when my apt was his response was "I don't keep records of that!" My response to him what business doesn't keep records! I then said told him how urgent this way and he accused me of being a liar by stating "well how do I know we even came there!" He then hung up on me which I found incredibly rude and not professional. I was simply trying to get proof to provide to my condo association that the work was done of which it was.Desired Settlement: I want a letter from them stating the work was done and that's it not my fault he doesn't keep records of work being done. The Condo Association wants to charge me 25 dollars a day for non-compliance when I actually had the work done!!!

When I first heard from the consumer she said I had cleaned her dryer in July and said she would get back to me with check # the next day she said she couldn't find the check # then she proceeded to tell me she gave my guys cash and they stole it.None of this matters there were 85 other units in which the same process worked I put a person in the calander do the work give them a receipt which they turn in to management I also send a brief findings report to condo association in case I forget 1 the fail safe is the customers receipt.The association and I also told the plantiff I would come out free of charge to inspect if the dryer was in need of service the association would pay.She continues to just demand a receipt I cannot put my stamp of approval on any dryer just cause I hearsay it would compromise safety of all 91 condos.I did hang up only because I was at work and she continued to ridicule my Buisness my guys and myself.

He is clearly lying to you. I first called Gary when I got the letter from the association that we needed to provide proof that the work was done. I started off very nicely saying I had no idea of what date it was done but it was done on a Saturday right after we received letters from the condo association. I later found out it was sometime in March that the letters went out when attending a condo board meeting. I originally did think I paid by check but when I went back and checked my check registry all the way back from the beginning of the year there was nothing made out to his business. I then called him back the second day and explained my situation about not being able to find the check and asked him very nicely if he had any record of me making an appointment of which his answer was "no I don't keep records of that" Then he proceeded to call me a liar and said "how do I know you even had the work done anyway" of which I responded "Gary do you honestly think I would go to this much trouble if I didn't have the work done. I then said to him is is possible I paid cash and your workers could have taken it? Of which he responded I don't hire theives and hung up on me.

I later received a letter from the condo association stating Gary had agreed to come out and inspect that the work was done and I thought to myself ok he is trying to make up for being unprofessional. I called Gary and we set a date for December 2nd only to have him call me thevery next day and say he was cancelling that appointment because I had written to the Revdex.com about him and then said you are on your own and hung up on me for a second time! - I even have a letter from the condo association stating that he was cancelling the 12/2 apt because I had filed a complaint against him when I was simply just trying to get a resolution to all of this.

I assure you I had the work done and frankly anyone who doesn't keep records of when people call and make appointments and anyone who hangs up on me twice is no professional in my eyes. So much for his customer service skills.
