1. Claim form must filled out automatically as per the rules and regulations governing the Movers in the State of New Jersey for each claim, regardless of the type of claim. We process claims on merits.2. During any move, things can happen a customer can loose there items whether it is loss damage, forgotten outside the truck and so forth.3. Although apology is of course accepted, the damage was already done by spreading unsubstantiated truths in order to inflict as much damage as possible to the company.4. Completely understandable.5. This answer is not acceptable since there was no overcharge. The customer is fully aware of this.6. Although we agree that in comparison to the claim amount, $100 is insufficient, it is double than the amount the company is is obligated to offer under the agreed upon contractual agreement. If you do not purchase insure, you don't have one. You cannot say after the fact that you would like to purchase insurance. Our rates are structured in a way that reflects our limited liability whereby customers get to opt in or out of purchasing insurance. If you drive a car without insurance and get into an accident, you pay the price. You cannot apply for insurance after the fact .7. We do not have the customer's items.8. The customer has the full right to advertise their experience with the company they are dealing with however, they do not have the right to lie about the facts in order to inflict damages because they feel wronged. 9. We do have the right to protect our reputation against any and all unsubstantiated defamatory actions taken in order to specifically inflict damages, not once, but twice. Review: Company moved us from our house in Iselin to a townhouse in [redacted]. Upon unpacking we discovered we were missing lots of items. It appears that we were missing three boxes full of items I packed, a box of speakers, some DVD's and blu-rays that were in our TV stand and some items that were loose that I did not intend on them packing or taking. These items were all stolen by the movers or the moving company. When we contacted the company they essentially did not care and it was our fault for packing things or not getting insurance. We were told to fill out a claim form. I estimated the value of items to be over $2000. They recently sent us a settlement form that they would give us $100. It is an insult. We were completely taken advantage of. They also overcharged us for the move. Very unprofessional company.Desired Settlement: We want a refund for the money we paid for the move and I want my stuff back. If I can't get it back, I expect compensation.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

1. They told me to fill out a claim form even though we didn't get insurance option. They keep bringing up that we did not take the insurance. Would that have changed anything? My stuff would still be missing.2. I know that I packed stuff that left Iselin with the movers and did not make it to our new residence. I know that there was stuff that was not packed that movers took and did not make it to our new residence. I wanted to resolve this without going to the police or courts, I would think they would appreciate taht.3. My apologies on this. I did not have invoice with me when I wrote this. I was so angry after the $100 settlement offer that I quickly wrote the complaint. 4. I just want my stuff back. I am not looking to make money. I just want my stuff. There are things missing that can't be bought. Things that mean stuff to me like the cards from the wakes of my aunt and two uncles that were in my jewelry box that is missing, earrings my uncle (who is gone) and aunt brought me back from trip to Italy, large binder of baseball cards and other cards most of which that were given to me a long time ago by my cousin (who is now deceased), etc. 5. I only said we were overcharged because that is what their movers told us when they gave us the bill. 6. The $100 settlement offer is a joke.7. I don't understand what this means. I just want my stuff back.8. I am not trying to defame anyone. I just don't think it is fair that this could happen and no restitution is given. 9. Now they threaten to sue me. I have no money. I live paycheck to paycheck. I can barely afford my rent and bills. I have not sued you. I feel like we have been taken advantage of and not treated fairly. I am permitted to feel that way.

Regards,
