transmission area of her 2007 acura tsx fwd vehicle. once I test drove vehicle it was determined that the planetary had cracked and was instructed not to operate vehicle until it was brought in for repairs. customer drove vehicle till it was inoperative and was towed into me for the transmission to be rebuilt. vehicle was in my care from april 21 till april 24 when it was released to the care of [redacted] auto repair for pickup on the 27th. vehicle trans was fully rebuilt and tested before it was released. on may 8th I was contacted by the customer (cindie taylor) stating that the car was **pulling** funny since the beginning of that week and that she was now stuck on rt22 in union. I asked why she did not contact me earlier that week and she could not give me a accurate response. I asked her to check the fluid level which she had no knowledge how to do and called someone to do so and that person stated a few days later when I contacted her again for a status and she stated car would not move and was towed to her house. I advised her I had a full load of cars and it would take a few days for her vehicle to be towed to me (at no cost to her) and returned to my shop where we discovered that the unit had been bottomed out and cracked the casing loosing allot of fluid. to her significant others acknowledgement when he visited the shop that there were puddles of fluid located in her driveway. her vehicle was in my possesion when she states that it was not and was in my possession when this claim was filed. her vehicle was returned to her on 5/20/2015 the same day this letter was received. her warranty is honored and will continue to be as long as it is not negligence as it was in this case where the fluid was not maintained and the trans sustained physical damage. also the warranty is not 1yr 20,000 miles as she stated but 1yr 30,000 miles. vehicle rebuilt transmission failed again due to neglect and not installer or re builder error.

Review: The week of April 13, I took my car to my mechanic because it was making a lot of noise and I was told it was my transmissionMy mechanic drove it and referred me to Drew who said he had to drive my car to check what it could be and he said my transmissionHe then said he had to go in and open it to see what the problem could be and it would take days to a week depending on what was wrongHe told me that the price would be between $to $He said that I would have to leave $deposit when I bought the car to himOn 4/17/I dropped my car off and I paid $in cash to Drew, Owner of Un4gven to evaluate the job and to give me a total priceThe price he gave me was $to do my transmission and I told him that I had to go out of town on April 22, and would not be back until Saturday, April 25, and I would pick the car up thenDrew stated that he might be going out of town on that Friday, April 24, and would not be back until that Monday, April 27, I told him he could leave it across the street with my mechanicOn April 21, 2015, I gave Drew another $in cash and left my debit card information with him to deduct the balance which was a balance of $which was deducted on Friday April 24, On April 25, 2015, I picked up car,it was fineLight in the car came on days priorMay 8, parked my car and tried to back it up, it would not move in reverse or forward and had to get the car towed homeThere was no transmission fluid in the carI assume Drew did not check to make sure there was any in the car.I called Drew and he stated that I should have called him when the light came onI asked him when could he pick up the car to check it out he said Tuesday or Wednsay the latestTold Drew that I needed my car asap because I have a business and I'm losing moneyHe stated there was nothing he could do at the time because he had other cars in the shopCar was not picked up as of Wednsday evening.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back and the money I lost from my second jobHe should have made my car priority because it is paid for and it was not fixed properly and do not think I should have to wait a week for him to pick up my car and then another days to a week for him to fix itI do have a warranty year/20,miles
