Unclaimed Diamonds

Review: the large diamond centerpiece in my ring came out after only 5 months of ownership the warranty is for 6 months. Fine print states every two months need to bring in to be inspected not orally told to my fiancée who purchased it for me. Called the store, first was told by a male named [redacted] to bring it in, then was called 30 minutes later by the sales associate [redacted], he told me I should have known to bring it in and get tightened especially because it is only a 4 prong ring, again something never told at time of purchase, then told because the centerpiece is .90cts or pts

that they would not replace beause in total the rings band equals 2.25. The warranty states "will replace and diamond or gemstone from a manufactured defective setting" and "unclaimed diamonds will not replace center pieces a center diamond or gemstone in engagement rings or wedding sets as well as an other jewelry item with a MOUNTED STONE 10pts or greater" not the whole ring as I was told verbally on the phone. which changes there policy. Planned on getting insurance after the warranty was up for the 6 months which is normal. After [redacted] told me how the did not make a big profit they cannot afford to fix. that the business is slow and they just laid someone off. he understands he has young kids, that I should have known to get it tightened to so frequently even though I have had other jewelry, that they would work on a new price for a diamond but if I make it difficult to work with them they wont. They showed as an A+ company in the Revdex.com and have been accredited since 2001. Called next day asked for the business owner name, the business license number, and the jeweler who inspected it

before placed on display or invoice number and was on the phone with a [redacted] then she place me on with a unidentified male who said they would not give me any of this

information to send in, I told him it was for this office and he said they would only give it to you, refused to give information.Desired Settlement: to replace the stone and to make sure setting is proper for the stone
