June 26, 2014Dear **. [redacted],This letter is in reference to ID# [redacted], [redacted].Thank you for notifying Unclaimed Freight Company & Liquidation Sales Inc. of the current customer complaint— Our Company has engaged in extensive research regarding the issue you have provided in detail.Based on the details provided, it is unclear as to which item/items the customer is interested in, as well as the price the customer desires. [redacted] Magazine is an advertising agency, that creates it's ads to resemble a "coupon" like book comprised of many different clients. Though it is understandable for one to portray these designs as a "coupon" itself, it is imperative to realize that there are no additional discounts, unless specifically stated. After carefully reviewing our advertisements within the [redacted] Magazine, our inventory pricing, and checking our showroom floor for any incorrect pricing, we are still uncertain of the both the set the customer is trying to purchase and the price the customer has listed. We have carefully reviewed the model provided "Microfiber Chocolate Champion" on our showroom floor. The prices we have gathered were as follows: Our Regular Price: $4,000.00, Our Price: $1989.95, and Cash Price: $1,889.95. This set on our floor is a set comprised of a sofa, a loveseat, and a wedge—none of which is listed in any of our recent advertisements. The information provided does not account to any of the information we have stored on file or posted in our [redacted] Magazine Advertisements. Our company does not relay the brand name to our audience—which in turn is why you will never see the brand name posted. If you have any questions/ concerns, regarding the above information, please do not hesitate to contact us.Sincerely,

Review: On 12/14/12 I purchased a loveseat, sofa and recliner for $1,729.90 at Unclaimed Freight CO. and Liquidation Sales in [redacted], PA. After about 10 months of owning the furniture I noticed that the actual stuffing was coming out of the back of the one side of the loveseat. I would find more stuffing laying on the floor each day. I then noticed on the other part of the loveseat there was a tear along the back of the cushion where the seam and stitching are. I called and spoke with the store manager at the Unclaimed Freight Store in [redacted], Pa. He told me the loveseat I purchased was one of the few that actually had a warranty. He then proceeded to tell me that I have to bring the loveseat back in and they will look at it. I dropped my loveseat off on 11/23/13. I took my original receipt with me to the store and when I went to leave I asked for my original receipt back and they refused to give it to me. Luckily I had an extra copy at my house with the original credit card receipt for the final payment attached to it. Weeks had gone by and I had not heard from the company. I gave them the benefit of the doubt with the Thanksgiving holiday so I gave it a week before I called to find out what was going on. The manager told me he had not looked at my loveseat yet to summarize the repairs needed. Two more weeks went by and I still had not heard from the store, so I called again. The manager told me the repairs were too much for what they could do there so they had to send it out to the manufacture for repair. A month has gone by and I hear nothing so I call again. The manager tells me he hasn't heard anything and as soon as he does he will call me. I wait two more weeks and call again. The manager tells me he is calling to find out what is going on and he will call me right back. The next day he calls me and tells me that I will have my furniture by the end of next week. It has now been two months and I still do not have my furniture. I called a few days ago and the manager tells me that the manufacture gave him the excuse that they were closed from Christmas until New Years. I asked the manager for the phone number of the company to call them direct and he stated to me that all the warranty scheduling is taken care of by the [redacted] Unclaimed Freight and Liquidation store. I called the [redacted] store and tell three different people my story. The last person I spoke with told me that my loveseat is still sitting in the [redacted] Unclaimed Freight Warehouse untouched. The [redacted] store told me they have to submit a request to the manufacture of the loveseat and they have to reply with what repairs they are allowed to do to the furniture. I asked for the manufactures phone number to call them and find out what is going on and the [redacted] store refused to give me that number. So it has been two months and my loveseat is still as defective as it was the day it left my house on 11/23/13.Desired Settlement: I'd like to have my loveseat fixed or I want it replaced with a new loveseat that is the same color and fabric of the defective one they currently have sitting in there warehouse. I also want the new or repaired loveseat delivered to my house.

Dear **. [redacted]:

This letter is in reference to complaint #[redacted] from [redacted]. [redacted].

This customer did in fact purchase a [redacted] living room set on November 23, 2012. A customer complaint was written on December 13,2013 and sent to the manufacturer. We were told that the warranty on cushions is one year; however, the manufacturer was willing to send the needed material

for repair.

Upon receiving the needed material, the piece was repaired. A call to the customer was placed on January 29,2014 @ 2:40 pm to update her on the status. A message was left; however, we did not receive a return call.

The material was received on February 10, 2014 the piece was repaired and sent back to the [redacted] store on February 12, 2014. A call was placed to inform the customer that she could pick up her merchandise.

On February 14,2014, **. [redacted] spoke the general manager stating that we needed to deliver the piece back to her home.

The manufacturer was kind enough to send the material free of charge. We were kind enough to repair the piece free of charge. As stated above, the cushion is out of warranty but the frame is still covered, (see enclosed copy)*

While speaking to the general manager this customer proceeded to use profanity and. was disrespectful. We have satisfied this complaint. The matter is closed. The merchandise is ready for pick up.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a couch on Thursay, 2/28/13. I inspected the couch to the best of my abilities (it was in 2 different boxes, and freezing outside.) I just set up the couch today which is Monday, 3/4/13 and the actual couch is damaged. The wood part is split and you cannot sit on the lounge part of the sectional. I called the buisness right away to let them know. I spoke with [redacted] (manager) and gave him my invoice number etc and he said that he would call me back. He called back 3 hours later and told me that there was nothing that he can do. We went back and forth on the phone about how that is not right and he just do what you feel necessary. I am so beyond unsattisfied about this whole ordeal. I just spend over 500.00 on a couch that I cannot sit on and they won't do anything about it.Desired Settlement: I originally wanted to obtain a new lounge part for my sofa. However after all this I would like to return the merchandise and get a cash refund and an apology.

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: [redacted]

First of all I find this statement to be highly discriminatory. My boyfriend and I are both bigger people and them using a weight limit as an excuse is unnaceptable. We did not break this set as I believe that they are trying to say. Like I said in my complaint the couch was defective we did not break it. We didn't even have a chance to sit on it, the actual foundation was cracked (which you couldnt see in a box.) Nobody mentioned any sort of weight limit or even suggested another sofa set. If I walked into a store and someone told me to look at another set because it was able to withstand more weight, I would walk out. If they would have said anything about a 250 lb weight limit obviously we wouldnt have not bought it being that my boyfriend alone weighs over that amount. When I called to try and rectify the situation nothing was mentioned about this weight limit either. [redacted] (manager) in a rude tone just said that he was not going to do anything about it, and to do whatever I had to do. Also yes it is true you are told to inspect the set. They pulled 2 boxes out of a trailer and opened them. We inspected them to the best of our ability (they were not set up, it was freezing outside.) Also in their response they are contradicting themselves stating that we were told to look at a larger set that can withstand more weight, then they say all furniture has a 250 lb weight limit. Which means only 1 person can sit on any of their sofas at one time? If this is the case they should have signs posted saying there is a weight limit. Point blank they are lying to try and cover up their rude, horrible business practices and I am not accepting this discriminating response and have yet to determine if I am going to take this response to the next level.

I would like a replacement or a cash refund.
