Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Upon reviewing the latest response by the business the sales ticket number is incorrect, therefore the product they are referencing is incorrect also The current complaint is on the [redacted] recliner purchased as shown on sales ticket number ( [redacted] ) not sales ticket number ( [redacted] )The sales ticket number [redacted] is in reference to the original purchase that also had to be referred to the Revdex.com in order to get the business to stand behind it's productThe recliner referenced to on ticket number [redacted] after attempted repairs could not be repaired of the issues that started less than days after the original purchasedIt was then that the recliner on ticket # [redacted] was returned, with the [redacted] recliner then being purchasedAttached is a copy of sales ticket [redacted] which clearly shows the recliner was not purchased "as is"The incorrect information the business has provided to the Revdex.com is yet another example of how this particular business serves after the sale, with little to no concerns as to product issuesLike I have noted before this particular business only provides customer service to the threshold of the exit door with all the "we're here to serve you" talk being just that,a sales pitchI do believe this complaint needs to remain open and view-able to other potential buyers Regards, [redacted]

need to be able to respond to this complaint as the customer is supplying paperwork that is not a sales order but a copy of the return where we took back the merchandise from the original purchase from 2012. If he had completed the copy of the paper to include the order number *** it also says RETURN beside the number thus the merchandise that we took back when he purchased what was on sales *** as originally stated therefore he does not have the recliner that he is referring toA copy of the complete return is attached
thanks for your help.
Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

The sectional the business continues to refer to is not the problem, The purchased furniture in need of repair is the *** recliner/rocker, the same repairs needed as when it was worked on before by the fore mentioned company a recliner/rocker that was not purchased as is, with not only a year warranty provided by *** through Unclaimed Furniture as the retailer but also an extended warranty was purchased at the time of purchaseHowever the one year warranty has not been honored by the seller up to this pointIn the past when needing repairs set up by Unclaimed Furniture it has not been out of the norm to wait months for such an appointmentI will be forwarding a copy of the original sales invoice to the Revdex.com

In response to the customer's rejection,  the recliner was also on the before mentioned sales order [redacted] and was also sold as is, floor model and only the manufacturer's warranty was in effect however not through Unclaimed Furniture.   As previously stated, we did help him get service through the local [redacted] Warranty repair people, [redacted] as courtesy to customer.  They repaired the recliner after receiving parts from [redacted] in March 2014.  Customer called again in June 2014 for service on recliner and I sent this to the repair people again however with multiple calls to customer, received no call backs from the customer.  The customer does not call Unclaimed Furniture any more until November 2014.  At this time the manufacturer's warranty is over and I advised him to contact [redacted] for service as that is the company that handles the extended warranty that he purchased.  As a courtesy, we contacted the local repair people for the customer however we are still not responsible for any repairs to the customer's furniture as it was sold as is.  Customer was aware of "AS IS" sale as it was signed at time of purchase. (copies attached)Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Upon reviewing the latest response by the business the sales ticket number is incorrect, therefore the product they are referencing is incorrect also . The current complaint is on the [redacted] recliner purchased as shown on sales ticket number ([redacted]) not sales ticket number ([redacted]). The sales ticket number [redacted] is in reference to the original purchase that also had to be referred to the Revdex.com in order to get the business to stand behind it's product. The recliner referenced to on ticket number [redacted] after 2 attempted repairs could not be repaired of the issues that started less than 30 days after the original purchased. It was then that the recliner on ticket #[redacted] was returned, with the [redacted] recliner then being purchased. Attached is a copy of sales ticket [redacted] which clearly shows the recliner was not purchased "as is". The incorrect information the business has provided to the Revdex.com is yet another example of how this particular business serves after the sale, with little to no concerns as to product issues. Like I have noted before this particular business only provides customer service to the threshold of the exit door with all the "we're here to serve you"  talk being just that,a sales pitch. I do believe this complaint needs to remain open and view-able to other potential buyers.

This is in response [redacted], ID [redacted].Customer originally purchased November 6, 2012.  The living room sectional items by [redacted] were returned on 9-23-2013 and the customer reselected a different sectional by [redacted].  This was due to issues the customer was having with the...

sectional from [redacted].  The second purchase on 9-23-13 was sold  "AS IS Floor Model"  and was notated on customer's paperwork.  After researching, I cannot locate anything prior to January 2014 as far as calls from the customer.  There was a different person in this job at that time.  The first I was aware of the customer's issues with the [redacted] Furniture was in February 2014 and as courtesy to customer, I notified [redacted] to handle the [redacted] issues under the factory warranty with [redacted].  [redacted] is the local [redacted] repair people.  [redacted] went to customer's home on February 6, 2014 and inspected the furniture, and ordered parts to complete the repair.  The parts came in March 2014 and they called the customer to complete the repair.  the repair was made  March 27, 2014.The customer called again in June 2014 and I sent the service call to [redacted] on 6-3-2014.  According to their records, they made several attempts to contact the customer and was never able to get in touch with the customer and the customer never returned any phone calls.  The last time Unclaimed heard from the customer was June 2014 until he called in November 2014.  This is also stated in the customer's  complaint.  Unclaimed was not aware of the continuing  problem as most customers would have called back sooner that 5 months if there was still a problem.  When the customer called November 12, 2014, , that is when Unclaimed was made aware the the service issue from June was not handled  I contacted [redacted] and that is when we were notified that several attempts were made to contact customer and no return calls were ever received nor were they able to talk to customer when they called the customer.  We feel that we have tried to handle the customer however when the suit was sold "AS IS" , Unclaimed has no warranty on the furniture and as a courtesy, we get the customer in contact with the local [redacted] repair people to handle the factory warranty.  The additional warranty the customer purchased covers any accidental issues that arises with the furniture.  If the customer had called us back in a reasonable amount of time instead of 5 months later, we could have gotten him back in touch with [redacted]Unclaimed Furniture feels that we have gone over and beyond as the purchase date starts with the original purchase  in November 2012 therefore the year is over November 2013 .  Everything that we have done beyond November 2013 has been as a courtesy to the customer.  Again, the [redacted] merchandise was AS IS.
