elsewhere for this year's steelhead fishing trip. The cabins that he wanted to reserve are a prime spot that is usually reserved year round. I believe the mix up was a result of Uncle John losing his longtime secretary and trying to keep up with the workload mainly by himself (his granddaughter who has been helping out is still a high school student). I came on board to run the office only 2 weeks ago and am still acclimating to procedures as well as making many organizational changes before the steelhead fishing season comes into full throttle. I appreciate the input from your company as well as [redacted]'s as I work to get things running smoothly and back on track again here. ~[redacted] Office ManagerJoyce, I appreciate your bringing this conflict to our attention. Review: [redacted]I put in a reservation request at Uncle John's Campground on August 1, 2015, using their online reservation system, and reserved Cabin #5. I then received an email on Sept. 10th stating that I couldn't have Cabin #5, as it was already rented out, but I could be put into Cabin #4 for the dates requested, Nov. 27th and 28th. Okay.

Fast forward to Oct. 7, 2015. I call to make another reservation for a cabin on Oct. 17th. I tell the woman that my info is already on file for a reservation I made a couple months ago. She says, "Yeah, we have you here Wednesday and Thursday, November 25th and 26th." I say no, that's not correct. She blames the computers being down and scrambling the reservation dates. She writes down the correct dates, and says I am all set for the 17th and the dates I requested in November.

I get a call 5 minutes later from Hope, who proceeds to tell me that my 2 month old reservation was changed by the owner, John P[redacted]. Not only did he change the cabin I was scheduled to stay in, he changed the dates. Also, they are booked the 17th of October, so no reservation on that date, either.

This is all according to Hope, the person I spoke to on the phone on Sept 10th and today. She specifically told me that John, the owner, doesn't want to have 1 or 2 guys stay in a cabin he an put 5 guys in, so he conveniently moved me out without notification. I asked her if John was the one who moved it, or just ordered the directive, and she said John did it.

I have the email confirmation from Uncle John's, stating my desired cabin and dates, and also stating that they cannot/will not be changed. Not the case. I was never notified of a change in either location or date, and thankfully I called, or I would have driven 2 hours up there in November, only to find my cabin was given to someone else. Not a very good business practice, but one that goes on more than we know with "Uncle John".Desired Settlement: I want the owner, John Puline, to explain why this was done. I also want the cabin I requested and was given.

Review: I made a reservation last October for two cabins with Uncle John himself. I called in March to double check because last year my reservation was lost. I talked to Uncle John himself and he told me that I had a reservation for cabin # 4 & 5. So I called again on the 5th of July to double check and He once again said he was not by his computer and I had the cabins and would give me a call that day when he was in front of his computer. I never got a call. Then his granddaughter called me on July 14 to take my information for my reservation and she told me that I had the bunk house for the last weekend in October. I asked for a conformation number and she said they don't do that. I called to check my reservation on the 31 of August and I was told the all of the cabins and the bunk house was all ready taking and there was only a camp car that sleeps six when I was trying to make a reservation for 10 people. I asked why I did not have my reservation that I have been trying to make seens last October and he said his granddaughter was not sure if I wanted the bunk house. When I talked to his granddaughter in July I asked for a confirmation number and she said they do not do that. This is not the first time he has done this to my group he gave me two cabins last year then told me I had to move in the middle of the night because he gave that cabin to someone else. This guy has double booked cabins time and time again.Desired Settlement: I would like the cabins #4 & 5 I was told I had last year. Not a camp car that is a unsafe to sleep in.
