Uncle Sams Moving Corps Reviews (15)

Regarding the complaint received, we respond as follows:The customer misrepresented the amount of boxes to be moved and also did not disclose that an additional bedroom had to be moved, this was not included in the original job estimate MrR [redacted] admitted that he had not included these items in his original request for move Additionally, there is an invoice in the amount of $1,that has yet be paid

I have responded to this complaint already.I am willing to refund half of his deposit.***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11562557, and it is demonstrably false.Contrary to his allegation, MrS [redacted] never advised me by phone or otherwise to have a local shop give him an estimate of the repairs This is patently untrue It is nothing more than a desperate attempt to distract and inaccurately shift blame, thereby compounding his error by incorrectly claiming that "MrBarrios won't provide me with an estimate." MrS [redacted] simply never made request for a repair estimate, and thus none was provided.Despite my many attempts to call MrS [redacted] and leaving numerous voice mails, I only spoke with MrS [redacted] twice by phone in the last months (although I sent emails in the same time frame, all of which were ultimately ignored) After submitting my initial email claim on 12/14/with attached photographs showing the damage, I first spoke to MrS [redacted] on 12/28/15, and he promised to look at the pictures and to resolve the dispute He requested that I send another copy of the damage photographs to a different (personal) email address, which I did on 1/07/ After not hearing anything back from MrS***, I sent additional emails to MrS [redacted] on 1/19/16, 1/28/16, and 2/04/ The second time I spoke with MrS [redacted] was on 2/04/16, when MrS [redacted] promised me he would look at my prior emails, damage photographs, and claim, and that he would call me the next day, 2/05/16, to resolve my claim MrS [redacted] said nothing at that time about not being able to view the damage photographs I sent him I never heard from MrS [redacted] on 2/05/as he promised, and indeed never heard from him since, despite my additional email pleas to MrS [redacted] dated 3/01/and 5/02/ In the face of all of my numerous emails and phone calls to him over months and despite having every ample opportunity to do so, MrS [redacted] never bothered to inform me that he was allegedly unable to view the damage pictures or that he requested that a local shop provide a repair estimate For him to claim that now is simply incredulous and specious All this said, I am willing to mail MrS [redacted] a thumb-drive or disk of the photographs (thus providing them for a third time), and to try to obtain an estimate of the repairs Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] was advised by phone to have a local shop give me an estimate of the repairsI have been unable to view any pictures of the damage and am unable to determine if we bear any responsibility.I have no idea the extent or the cause of the damages since [redacted] wont provide me with an estimate. Please calll me with any questions.Thank YouMike

Review: I paid upfront for moving services with a $900.00 check, I then found somewhere else to do business with and called for the check to be returned and/or me to come pick up. The check was cashed and I haven't heard from this company since.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my full $900.00 back.
