On 11/30/22 I applied for a loan with this company although my gut told me not to. I was in a bind and needed emergency funds quickly . I started repaying the loan with the first payment coming out on 12/8/22 in the amount of 270.00. Two weeks later they took another $270 out of my account and again on 1/19/23 . I thought after 4 or 5 payments I'd be done paying what was owed as I borrowed $900. I i reached out asking about this only to be Informed that my first 4 payments went toward interest only! I have paid them in total so far $1800 on a $900 loan that they say I wont finish paying off until next year! This is highway robbery and in simple…. I CANNOT AFFORD THAT! My income has changed ALOT since I signed up and this is completely ridiculous! I did not really understand the contract or the outrageous amount of interest and the payment plan. I had to reach out to asked them to stop trying to process payments because my account was overdrawn do to the attempts being made. They stopped the payments but didn’t even really listen to what was going on, they just immediately started emailing about repayment and have been doing so since. This is crazy and I just can’t afford it! I just want my account to be settled as paid and closed. Please help! I have had emergencies come up I lost a close family member
Unexpectedly and have that cost.. I cant even fix have of the things because of this! I should have done more research because after talking to a friend of mine (a attorney) I was advised to do the research because there are consumer protection laws and they believe this company may have violated them. I have since found an article saying the company/ies are not licensed to offer payday loans and have in fact violated my consumer protection laws. I don't want this to affect my credit and I want this fraudulent company to stop trying to collect my money, I’ve paid more than enough.

So I burrowed 800 from they want 2400 back this place is a scam don’t burrow money from them. I tried to make my payments monthly but they wouldn’t do that for me at all. So don’t burrow money from them they will rip you off I wish I would have know this but they didn’t explain to me on the phone that there would be so many payments. I feel like just blocking them and not paying them anything. If I could would give 5 negative stars cause they are not a good company to deal with at all DO NOT BURROW MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I received a $900 loan from this company Dash Of Cash. I was told that I would pay the balance of $900 a fee of $170 with a few payments. I then realized I had already paid $1080 and the balance was not going down. I called the company only to be placed on hold twice for almost two hours. I told them that I would only be paying what I agreed to. They only allowed me to get an extension due to coronavirus. They proceeded to send me an email saying that I signed to pay back $3700+ when I never did. I want them to cease from automatically taking money from my account. I will pay the principal balance of what I borrowed and nothing more. This company is a total scam. I want to get an attorney involved.

I paid you guys in full didn’t even have my loan a whole month . You guys debited my account twice for 902.86. I called you guys at 8 am and let you guys knew and then you guys called my bank while I was on the phone to confirm and you guys promise it would be returned by the afternoon . I called 3 times and talked to two managers . You guys are liars , disrespectful, unconsidered, unprofessional, and not customer service friendly. I am a single mom of 6. I had to take out a loan to help us move. I took out a 1200.00$ loan and have tried to pay toward the principal as well as the balance only to continue to have huge amounts taken out every 2 weeks. I called then because I saw that a huge amount was being taken out of another bank account I have under a different surname. The rep couldnt tell me much but did let it slip that I had 2 accounts. How does that even happen? Why cant I see it online and why havnt I been told about it when calling before.? When I pull it up online I can only see one. I asked for information on this and was put on hold and still have no answer. They are pulling from 2 accounts without permission. I told the rep that I DO NOT WANT ANY funds taken from either of my accounts and that I will pay bi weekly and was told no. I cant afford this. I am a single mom who is having to go to food banks so my children can eat. WE have medical issues and are almost homeless but uncle warbucks, speedy inn twrk Doha Qa makes sure to take money from both my accounts. Shady, shady business. How does that happen?

roblem:i filed a complaint about about a loan I had taken out. I found out that they were taking money out of my other account (that is never used for this purpose) as well as the account I took the loan from. It took me some time to figure out who was taking the other loan out as they were going by another name, So one account was being drafted under a name I wasnt aware was associated with uncle warbucks and then my other account was being drafted by uncle warbucks. When I discovered it was them I called to inquire. Talk about a run around. First they dont see the extra loan and then 2 calls later they see it but I only owed $285. They were trying to draft 202. The numbers just didnt match up not to mention the name being different and it being through that bank. Then I ask how 2 accounts can happen and I get a huge runaround. I am then told it did so I ask why cant I see it online and am told that the information isnt visible online as they dont have a website, I inform the girl well I am looking at my aone acct now and I applied online. She stammers and changes the subject. When I tried to get inffo from one acct I am told he can only service or look at the other so I ask for that side of the acct and get the runaround. I tell then I want to know my balance and he avoids my question, I ask 5 times and still no answer. I ask for my payment history and get different answers. when I call him out on it I get different numbers. I asked about a payment plan and am told there is none. I dealt with 3 different people that could not give me a straight answer. I made it clear that they are NOT to debit my accts from checking or credit/debit card numerous times either bank. It is a joke. Why are you trying to draft my acct from a name I have never heard? It is all a little shady. Before they respond they need to listen to the call tapes. I cant get any explanations to anything. I didnt even get correct payment amounts. This is part 2 of my complaint. I also want them to quit trying to debit my account. I was in a tight spot for money and found this website, money messiah, granted loans. It looked legit so I filled out the paperwork and got a call from them. The lady explained that they would loan me 600 dollars and the paid back balance would be 780 dollars. I agreed and we went through the process of setting up automatic bill payments through my checking account. I recieved the paperwork as agreed and signed. I was then emailed the agreement. Me being as distracted as I could be I didnt bother to look at it until today when they took out 240 dollars instead of the remaining balance of 60 dollars. I had paid 4 payments of 180 dollars as agreed upon over the phone. Instead of the last 60 dollar payment they had taken out 240. I went into my email and investigated the agreement. There was a balance of 2427 listed on the agreement but when logged into their website it shows a principal balance of 780. The percent increase listed on the agreement is 507.5%. There is a financial charge of 1827 dollars listed as well. This is NOT what I had agreed to nor what was explained to me. I was blatantly lied to.

The business has taken advantage of me in regards to financial hardship. Did they offer me help? Yes. Did the money provided help? Yes. Should I or anyone be charged 505% interest or 1827 dollars extra for a loan. No. This business knows that people in financial hardship can not pay off a loan quickly enough to not accrue a large owed balance. This is a purposely driven company that preys on the weak. There are plenty of complaints listed for this company and associated companies with this one. Just because the name changes does not mean they are anything new. This company is also using an address that isnt its actual address to deter anyone from going to their offices. The terms of the agreement were not clear to me no matter what they have said as no body would take this kind of loan knowing that we live in a world where minimum payments are required to survive. I myself cannot pay off 780 dollars right away as the minimum payments were barely affordable.

I would like to get out of this agreement as theres no way as of now to be able to pay anymore. I have to relocate funds to other more important issues regarding a court case.

Uncle Warbucks charges an immediate 300 dollar fee on the principal taken out for loan. How can this be if their loaning limit is 1000? In addition, there is a very misleading disclaimer on their front page about what states they are allowed to lend in, why would they not be comfortable disclosing where they can lend in the U.S.? Are they even allowed in Illinois? I did not realize how quickly their interest piles up. On the account screen, you can't even see your current APR or any descriptive detail about the loan. It only shows the payoff balance, which grows astronomically by the day. I have no clue what sort of schedule I'm on, I only get emails a few days before saying they will auto debit my checking account.

In addition, I am in a tight pinch and simply don't have enough money in my checking account to accommodate their bi weekly payments but they've shown 0 effort to work with me. They've only offered a 7 day extension and nothing further.

This does not satisfy my concern and complaint. Given the cease and desist order sent to Rapital Capital by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation, I am under the impression and been advised that the network (which includes Rapital Capital, Uncle Warbucks) is not legitimate. I do not want to engage with uncle Warbucks until I have received appropriate guidance moving forward.

Over the past year, times have been tough. My wife has lost her job and my mother has been diagnosed with cancer so I have had to resort to taking out multiple loans from this company. I took out a loan of $900 and repaid $3,735 over the course of the agreement which is outrageous and against federal and state usury laws. Regardless, I was not aware of the illegality of these loans at the time and times became tough again when my mother was diagnosed with cancer so I had to get another loan. I am responsible for getting her to her doctor's visits as well as the cost of her medication and I am also not able to work as much. This has put me in a financial bind so I did some research and noticed the negative and fraudulent history of this company. I have reached out to this company and ask that they resolve and close my account since I have paid them over $4,000 to date yet they refuse and continue to threaten collection efforts. I have paid them more than any other customer who has filed a complaint yet they are willing to resolve their account. This company is fraudulent and immoral in their business practices and no one should ever do business with them.

I recently applied for and was approved for a loan with Rapital Capital and on the home screen is shows the payoff amount of the loan to $1040, however, the contract has almost $4000 due once all payments are complete. I should have done my research but I was in need of cash to pay a bill. Also, I don't think they are licensed in Texas. I'm fine with paying the $800 back but no way in hell will I be paying the $4000 for an $800 loan. Very deceptive practices by this company.

On July 1, 2019 I applied for a loan with this company against my better judgment as I was in a bind and needed emergency funds. I would like to accept the businesses response to consider my account settled and to no longer owe them anymore money.

I have happened to notice that when I checked my Checking account that someone has filled out a loan request with Uncle War bucks using my information on May 13, 2019 and was deposited in my account May 14, 2019 of $700.00. Then on May 31, 2019 soon as I got my paycheck deposited into my account ,Uncle War Bucks took out $210 from my checking account. When I called them they said I took a loan out and they sent me papers from the loan to show that I signed it. There was no signature and I did not take out a loan with these people.They threatened me if I don't pay I would end up owing them $4,000.

We would like to clarify that we received this consumer’s application and information through a 3rd party vendor and a loan agreement was signed electronically. We want to apologize as we in no way were intending to threaten the consumer in regard to this loan. We’d like to make clear that if a loan was issued to this consumer’s bank account and the funds were spent, then we are required to process transactions in order to have this loan paid off. If the customer is experiencing financial hardship, our customer service team would be happy to assist in order to form a plan that works considerately for the customer in order to repay this loan.

In saying that, if the consumer is certain they did not apply for a loan with an online vendor then we suggest filing an affidavit of identity theft as well as a police report. Once that is filed and we are contacted with the documentation we can then update the consumers loan information to reflect this. I do not agree with this because at no time did uncle war bucks offered to help me. Neither did I physically sign it. the 700 for matter of fact appeared to be put in but I did not spend it. The bank statements show that the 700 was in fact deposited but never made a difference up to when they took out 210$ from My paycheck. I checked what they sent me and for a fact if I.ever sign anything I always sign with my middle name not just the initial but the whole middle name.
If you even read it they're charging me 365.0% interest rate and for 700$ it would be $4,000.
I even put a stop to my account yet they charged me making me drop into _57$

We are sorry to hear that the consumer is not satisfied with our response. As mentioned in our previous response, if the consumer is certain they did not apply for a loan with an online vendor then we suggest filing an affidavit of identity theft as well as a police report. Once that is filed and we are contacted with the documentation we can then update the consumers loan information to reflect this. We also suggest placing a fraud alert with the 3 major credit bureaus. You can reach them at the following phone numbers, Equifax (800)525-6285, Experian (888)397-3742, TransUnion (800)680-7289. We can confirm that we have the loan agreement signed with the consumers name and banking information allowing us to process ACH payments, therefore we must honor the agreement and collect payment on the loan unless we receive documentation confirming otherwise.

Please also be advised that our customer service team makes outbound calls to our consumers that are in our collections department, in effort to help them get back on track with the payments or to simply assist with any hardship the consumer is experiencing. If notified of consumer fraud, they are trained to help in these situations as well. Unfortunately, if a consumer cease and desists contact with us, we cannot contact them in order to offer help. That being said, if there is no issue of identity theft and the consumer is dissatisfied with the agreed upon interest rate applied to their loan then we are willing to settle the account for the principal balance of $700 with $0 interest. This will include any payments that have already been made to us.

The consumer may contact our customer service team at (855)885-4027 to set up payment. We hope this resolves any dissatisfaction with Uncle Warbucks, as customer satisfaction is very important to us.

On 3 Jun 2019, I found myself in a predicament and responded to an advertisement I received from Groove Loan. I completed the process and was matched by Groove Loan with Dash of Cash. I stupidly took a loan for $1000.

On 14 Jun 2019, Dash of Cash automatically withdrew a payment of $300. In the meantime, I did some research (which I should have done prior to making this dumb choice!). I found astonishing informaiton to include the fact that Dash of Cash has no address within the United States.

In fact, Dash of Cash does not operate within the United States, therefore, has no license in my state which makes it an illegal loan AND an invalid loan.

I found the following on the Revdex.com site:

Revdex.com Serving Delaware became aware of the companies in May 2018 when consumers began to inquire and file complaints. There has been no verifiable physical location determined for this/these companies.

Revdex.com requested that the company modify its business practices, provide a physical location for the company, and conspicuously disclose business relationships between the multiple companies and websites.

Further, the Consumer Protection Units of California and Illinois issued Cease and Desist Orders for Rapital Capital, Uncle Warbucks and Money Messiah. The orders indicate the company/ies are not licensed to offer payday loans in those states and have violated consumer protection laws.”

I immediately demanded that Dash of Cash cease from taking ACH payments from my checking account. I made this request on 17 Jun. I followed up REPEATEDLY and just today received a response.

The response was an intimidation tactic refusing to provide me with a United States mailing address and instead asking me to use a NetSpend prepaid card which I could get from WalMart!!!

This is NOT legitimate. Groove Loan should NOT be matching unsuspecting patrons with this company.

I borrowed $1000 and have paid $300. I will repay the $700 in MONTHLY payments of $50 made via check to a United States mailing address which Dash of Cash has yet to provide.

I want my account to be marked CURRENT/IN GOOD STANDING at all times.

This is a racket and a predatory company!! They claim to be part of the "Speedy Loan Network", however, an Internet search of that company results in NO MATCHES.

The arrangement is NOT what I wanted but I felt threatened/intimidated by the company. It is NOT licensed to do business in my state, therefore, the contract is invalid. They are not even in Delaware and simply use a mail drop address. This is far from legitimate.

I am wondering why I keep getting a foreign exchange fee from my bank and I am finding out that this place that I have a payday loan thru is actually from the VIRGIN ISLANDS. Is it legal to do business from the VIRGIN ISLANDS, or Quebec, and say that you are in Delaware? Plus the fees are OUTRAGEOUS and I am finding myself stuck in this debt that I can not get out of.

NO Where in the contract does it state that this loan is outside of the united states.

We would like to inform you that this complaint has been resolved on our end. The customer contacted us in order to make a payment arrangement and it has been set up on the account. The customer has been making monthly payments and has agreed to continue to do so until the loan is paid in full. I received a text from a company about receiving a loan for the holiday season. Via the text link I gave my name address and telephone number and then was called by the company called "Dash of Cash" that has the same address as the company "Uncle Warbucks" I selected here. They then asked for my name, DOB, social, work title, and how much I made a month.This is what the amount of the loan depends on. To prove my work status, I had to call my both my bank and job to prove I was working and receiving a statement. After confirming this as well as my bank account and routing number---I was told over the phone that I was approved for an $800 loan. I was told that my first installment towards the $800 loan would be $240 dollars and that the money would be in my account in 1 business day. Before receiving the money, I was instructed to e-sign a document that had no details of the loan installment pay plan, interest or details. I signed the document after being assured over the phone I'd only be paying back the $8000 and received the money in one business day. Soon after I was sent another e-mail detailing a loan I did not agree too with a 354.81% annual interest rate and an outrageous payment plan finance charge for $4075. I did not agree to this. I changed my account number and put a stop payment on all the money they were taking out of my account. They have called me, sent e-mails constantly and harassed me. Even after changing my account number they have taken money out of my NEW account and I'm unsure how. I have called my bank and they are investigating for fraud. I believe I'e been taken advantage of and am the victim of the scam. I even asked to pay them just the money that I borrowed and they have refused and want payment in full for the $4875 which is outrageous. I found an article later on this business stating that the company/ies are not licensed to offer payday loans and have violated consumer protection laws. I don't want this to effect my credit and I want this fraudulent company to stop contacting me.
