I placed an order from the "Under the Canopy"website in August with the expectation my items would arrive by August *** 2019, at the latest. When the items were still missing on September *, I contacted the company via email and they said they had no idea why the items had not shipped. When I heard nothing more, I contacted them again on Sept. *, also via email, and they replied they couldn't answer me because they couldn't get in contact with their supplier. I logged into my bank account and was appalled to see they had charged me $62.01 for the order that never shipped, even though, typically, the business is not supposed to charge until items are actually shipped. I requested a refund twice and have not heard back, nor have I received the items ordered.

Hello,

This order was fully refunded on September ***, for the full amount of the order, $62.01. Confirmation attached. There was an issue due to high demand at our warehouse that caused a shipment hold. We sincerely apologize for the trouble.

I placed an order with under the canopy on May 28. Realizing I had ordered the wrong color, I emailed them to cancel. No response, except an email that said they would get back to me in 48 hours. No, they never responded. After many emails asking them to cancel, I received a text saying the order had shipped.
I texted back to stop the order. No response.
*** came with the order. I refused it. When the order was accepted at their company, I emailed the tracking number, proof of delivery, and asked for my refund.
I messaged them on ***. An answer from them said they would get back to me in 24 hours. Their phone number is secret and I am sick from emailing. They owe me $53.35. I need my refund!

A few weeks ago, two thoughtful friends purchased several towels for me from Under the Canopy, with an order total of around $150. When the towels arrived, they were much darker than in the images online and I hoped to exchange the towels (under the "free shipping and returns over $39" policy advertised on the Under the Canopy website). I first reached out to Under the Canopy on April 12th via email, and the response I got FIVE days later said that the towels had been "discontinued" (yet they are still available and actively for sale on their website), then they told me to take the issue up with a third party vendor (who had nothing to do with the transaction?). I replied to the email further explaining the situation (including clarifying that the towels were purchased directly from Under the Canopy and were indeed still in stock). I even provided my phone number and offered to explain the situation that way, as I was really hoping to resolve the situation. The company last responded on April 18th and have ignored two follow up emails since then.
When it was clear the company was not willing to communicate via email after more than two weeks, I posted reviews on UndertheCanopy.com which were verified originally but have since been deleted by the company.
