I am rejecting this response because, I did in fact return the car to the dealer but not without reason....

I had the car for three months and in that time the car spent the majority of the time in the dealers possession because the car did not function properly. The last three weeks of that time I called them consistantly to see if the car was ready, each time they would tell me that Mr Jose the manager of the dealership was not there. He was always said to be in a meeting or at lunch and that he would call me back and he never did. After this I called the financier Sierra Credit again and again Cesi told me not to worry that she would help me and call the dealership to see what they would say because the dealership had to either give me a different car,or fix the one I had originally chosen because it was not fair that they had sold me a car that did not function properly to begin with. She called me back after having talked to Mr Jose and told me to go back to the dealership because they were going to switch the car for me. I went and they told me that they would change it but I had to give them another $1,500 down payment, I asked them why if I was not doing a trade in. I just wanted another car or that car to be fixed because I had already been struggling for 3 months without a car already. I was told that we had to do a trade in because simply switching the car was illegal so again I was told to pay the down or take the car. Since the car was not fixed I left it there and went home. I called the financer again and she told me she would talk to her manager so that they could see what they could do for me. The next day she called me back and told me not to go get the car and not to worry that everything had been settled. So I went to the dealership to get my belongings that were left in the car back and to ask them what was going to happen with the down payment. When I arrived there I told them I was there to get my things and Mr Jose was there and told me to go into his office so once there I asked about my things and the down payment. He responded that because the car had been repossessed the down payment had automatically been lost. I told him that the car had not been repossessed because I had turned it in and given all my payments on time. He said that because I had turned it in it was as if it was repo and that he had the paperwork to prove it. I asked him to show them to me and he said that I could not see them as those papers were only for him, and did not show them to me. I then told him I wanted my belongings back and he told me to search for them in the trash and see if by chance they were there because the day before they had cleaned out the car and when cars are repossessed they throw everything away. I asked him why had they had thrown them away instead of calling me to pick them up and he said that it was law to throw everything away within 24 hours if the car was repossessed. So I went to the trash to look and the only things that were mine that I found were a can of gum ,and a rag that was in my sunglass case. I however did not find my versache glasses or its case, my children's tablets, or my handicap card, the paperwork for the car, or my brand new can of gum, only the one that was almost empty was there. I went back and told him my things weren't there and he said to call him tomorrow to see if anyone who had cleaned the car knew where my things were. When I called him back he said no one had any information, and he'd call me if heard anything and to this day he has not contacted me. I called the financer again to ask why Mr Jose had said the car was repo if she had said something else, she said that it was a complete lie that the car was not repossessed and that in that case the ones that would repossess the car would be the financiers not the dealership. She had no idea why Mr Jose was giving me so much trouble because when I the dealer repossesses a car they call the person and give them 30 days to go pick up their belongings. This is why I am asking that you guys help me in whatever is possible because I have no car at this time, and want my money back to buy another car and replace my things that went missing

To Whom It May Concern;   Please be informed that Mrs. [redacted] decided to surrender the vehicle back to the lender.   Sincerely,   Underpriced Auto Sales Management.
