Complaint # [redacted] and the shop owner [redacted]r has contacted me and he has reimbursed me the money I was out resolving this issue. Thank you very much for your help in this matter. Review: on May 23,2015 I dropped off my scooter to the owner "[redacted]" at his shop, my neighbor followed me over so he could give me a ride back home after I left my bike at the shop to repair a slow leak in the back tire. On May 26, 2015 I received a message from him on my phone that the work was done but the battery was completely dead. I still have the message on my phone and I called back asking how this happened? He said I delivered it to him that way...which is not true and I had to borrow the money to buy a battery and drove over in my truck and dropped it off for him to put in. When I got to his shop I noticed that the kill switch was left in the "ON" position which will drain the battery...he said I must have left it on. This bike is a 2008 that I have owned since 2010 and have never left the switch on in the 5 yrs. I have owned it. Then I left because I had to get my truck into the emissions dept. at Brannon tires in order to renew my tags with DMV by the due date 5/29/15 and asked [redacted] to pick me up so I can take my bike home, and have transportation for the rest of the work week. [redacted] is not being honest about this, and I feel he owes me the cost of the battery which was $65.39 and I have all my receipts from his Shop, Batteries Plus,(where I bought the battery) and [redacted] on the day I dropped off my truck and all he did was offer me a ride back to his shop so I could pick up my bike. I also saved the voice message from him on my phone, and then on the 29th my neighbors wife gave me a ride to pick up my truck so I could get it to DMV that day, also have proof of that. [redacted] did a sneaky thing I didn't notice until just now...he wrote paid 5/26/15 and I didn't get my bike back until the 27th when I bought the battery and took my truck in. I have witnesses to this as well...I'm going to also write a review on "[redacted]" and "dislike" his facebook page!He also said I had to pay cash because he doesn't take credit cards, that's how he will most likely get away with his mistake.Desired Settlement: Any reputable business owner would admit to making a mistake, as people are not always perfect, so I guess if this is how he treats customers... he shouldn't have any at all. I would give his shop a big fat "ZERO" rating, and he could at least reimburse me for the battery. I think he knows it was his fault and is trying to cover up his mistake, at my expense.

I gave [redacted] a check for $65 dollars and 39 cents on June 6 2015. This matter should be closed. The battery was old and I didn't want to make a bigger deal out of this than it already was so I just paid him for the battery. No hard feelings. [redacted]
