This lease ended May 31, 2015. State law states that a landlord has 45 days to process a security deposit refund. The date due would have been July 15, 2015. The refund was mailed on July 6, 2015 as the former tenant was informed. He was also informed that if it did not reach... him within a week (via United States Postal Service) that he should contact our office. Allowing one day to receive the refund via USPS is unreasonable.
