Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was assured over the phone that the 0% financing and $6,off was included on pre-owned vehicles I was only informed after meeting with Vanessa, who was very nice, that it did NOT apply As to the offer for trade in, I was given no copy of estimate or offer, however the dealership offered 10,as their highest offer, NOT 13, And the 110% value of my car would NOT be anywhere near 11,but closer to 17-18,dollars I did my research before going The only thing correct was the price of the pre-owned vehicle This is blatant lying on the part of the dealer ship and although I do not expect anything in return, I want it well known that the public should be wary of their advertising and sale practices Thank you Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

We are currently trading MrB*** out of the Ram he purchased in DecemberHe is signing papers today on a different unit This was his request and we believe this should resolve this complaint

after researching this matter , I have gathered a lot of documentation showing the facts of the numbers represented to Mrs *** during her visit to our dealershipI also would be happy to provide those documents to whom ever would like to confirm the facts that will follow...First and foremost
I would like to apologize to Mrs *** for her bad experience she had at our dealership and would like the opportunity to gain her trust and ultimately her business in the future..the facts I have gathered are as follows...Mrs *** was informed by our sales rep Vanessa that rebates and 0% financing are factory incentives that only apply to new vehicles...she was looking at a used vehicle when she was here...2ndThe letter Mrs*** received said we could offer up to 110% of Kelley Blue Book not 110% of Kelley Blue Book retail..WE have a signed worksheet showing $for her trade which is over % of Kelly Blue Book auction value of $11803..At that time Mrs***s only objection was payment, not price or trade..3rdthe vehicle Mrs *** was interested in was fairly priced at NADA retail at the time $and lastly we will gladly honor the oil change request at the customers convenience and I am prepared to reimburse her fuel expense for making the trip to our dealership...again I am truly sorry for any confusion or mis communications that have occurred...thank you ...Tate Branch

I am rejecting this response because: I was assured over the phone that the 0% financing and $6,000 off was included on pre-owned vehicles.  I was only informed after meeting with Vanessa, who was very nice, that it did NOT apply.  As to the offer for trade in, I was given no copy of estimate or offer, however the dealership offered 10,500 as their highest offer, NOT 13,000.  And the 110% value of my car would NOT be anywhere near 11,800 but closer to 17-18,000 dollars.   I did my research before going.  The only thing correct was the price of the pre-owned vehicle.  This is blatant lying on the part of the dealer ship and although I do not expect anything in return, I want it well known that the public should be wary of their false advertising and sale practices.  Thank you.

Review: ON Thanksgiving day 11/**/13 my father father was price gouged. A $18 cab ride cost him $50!!!! He called Unicab for a cab from his home to mine, (10 miles) Bronx address to Bronx address. A car came and teh cab driver refused to bring him to my address after he was alreday in the car. He was told to get out and that anothe rcar would be dispatched. A few minutes later a black SUV with Unicar sticker on it cam eand said he was there to take my fatehr to broadway (my address). My father got into teh car and when he reached my address the taxi driver demanded $50 in payment fo rthe ride. My father told him that was way too expensive and the driver used a menacing tone and stated that he was to give him his $50 now! My father was bringing food and other supplies for our Thanksgiving dinner and did nto want to argue so he paid teh man and came upstairs. I immediately called Unicab to complain and ask that teh driver return to my home and refund the hios money because that is theft. It is illegal in NYS to raise prices on a service, ezspecially over 2.5 times the usual price during a holiday or state of emergency. The dispatch said he didn't know which driver it was. We described the driver and teh vehicle. I also questioned how a cab company can pick someone up, allow teh customer to get into teh car and then decide that theyd o not want to go to teh address. The dispatcher did nto have an answer for me. He said it was my father's responsibility to get in teh car and be taken to teh address. HOwever the first driver refused to take him where he was going. The dispatch stated it was our problem and did not try to remedy the situation at all. This is a cab ride I take all teh time and have always only been charged from $18-$20 which proves taht they are not following a set price list and charge at will.Desired Settlement: I want Unicab to refund the over charged amount of $30-$32 and that tehir pricing and charging methods be reviewed and fixed.
