Review: For the past two New Years, this promotion company has collected ticket money from thousands of patrons for warehouse party events, while withholding location information until the day of the event, only to cancel the event hours after it was suppose to start, leaving people stranded in the warehouse district of [redacted] on New Years Eve. They failed to effectively communicate with people throughout the process, and ultimately people had to find out this information through rumors posted by people who showed up at the event only to find nothing there. [redacted] (the ticket seller, not even the promoter), sent out an email at 9:35 (an hour and a half after start time), saying it was cancelled, and then the promoter sent out an email at 10:42 (nearly two hours after the start, and one hour before new years?!). People spent money to travel into the city that they will not be reimbursed for, wasted time on a holiday that could have been spent elsewhere, and the overall inconvenience factor takes its toll. Not only did this happen this year, but last year as well, leaving thousands of people without money in there pocket and without new years eve plans, an hour before the ball dropped. Rumor has it the promoter failed to confirm permits for the event both years in a row, as well as not having essential resources on sight, such as a generator?! This is unacceptable behavior for a promoter who spent months collecting money from fans. This promoter also failed to communicate with artists they brought from over seas to perform, leaving them stranded in hotel rooms on NYE as well.Desired Settlement: They said that we will be reimbursed for our ticket money, but I would also like to be reimbursed for travel expenses (roughly $100). Also I would like to inform the Revdex.com so they can make the public aware of this behavior and consumer fraud like scam.

Review: Unicorn Meat NYC LLC, run by [redacted] (aka [redacted]) sold tickets to a Dec. **, 2014 New Years Eve concert at a warehouse location in Brooklyn, where multiple DJs including internationally known DJ Shpongle were supposed to play. When purchasing the tickets through the website [redacted] (the tickets ranged in price from $60-$90), the message was that Unicorn Meat would alert concertgoers the day of the event to the exact location. Not only did they fail to do so, but they sent out a one-sentence-long email at 10:45 p.m. on New Years Eve saying the concert was cancelled, with no further explanation as to why. It was completely disrespectful, rude and unprofessional of Unicorn Meat to have zero communication with people who bought tickets throughout the day and night about any problems with the event. It was hours after the event was supposed to start that we heard it wasn't happening; up until then people were speculating on [redacted] that the event was cancelled because we had never received a location. In the 2 days since then, despite many emails, I have heard no confirmation that we will be refunded for the price of our tickets. Personally I am owed $122. To make matters worse, this is the SECOND time that a Unicorn Meat New Years Eve event was cancelled at the last minute - last year's event was cancelled as well. This year, through their [redacted] page, Unicorn Meat laughed off the possibility of their event being shut down. This company clearly has no idea how to pull of a successful event and besides refunding every single ticket, it needs to be shut down.Desired Settlement: I need to be paid back the $122 I spent on tickets as soon as possible. Everyone who bought a ticket needs to be refunded. And this company should cease to exist because they clearly do not know how to run a New Years Eve event after failing two years in a row.

Review: I bought two tier 1 general admission to tickets to Unicorn Meat's Dec ** New Year's Eve show for $122.00 on Dec *, 2014. The organizers of the show were supposed to email attendees with the address of the show the day of, but the email never came and it was only 30 minutes after the show was supposed to begin at 8:00 pm Dec **, that the organizers issued a [redacted] statement that the show was cancelled. At 10:42 pm (nearly 3 hours after the show was supposed to begin), the organizers issued a statement via email that the show had been cancelled. They have since taken down their website with a email contact form, have refused to answer social media inquiries about refunds, and have not responded to the email I sent through their website on 12/** or to emails sent on my behalf by their ticketing company, [redacted]. The previous year they cancelled the show due to permit problems, they issued refunds on 1/*/2014. I cannot access their website to check for this year's refund policy, but their actions last year would indicate a precedent of issuing refunds for a cancelled show. At this point, I am concerned they intend to keep the money they collected for a show they did not put on and perhaps never had any intention of putting on.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the cost of the tickets I bought, $122.00.
