Unicorn never remove your case even you pay, stop paying them and save money to sue
Report to City Attorney , and Consumer Protection Bureau in DA Office. if you have paid and have their reply record. Upload ID to Unicourt and promised to remove but in vain. They have to go bankruptcy and go to jail. It is a fraudulence.

Unicourt is misrepresenting themselves as upholding the public’s rights to public information
Unicourt is merely a data scraper. They hold no authority over reposting public information on their third-party website. This company is simply a dressed up data broker that is selling legal data via a subscription. In fact, they are generating more revenue than official Federal, State, and Local Government entities by scrapping their websites to resell the data. Since the company officially by all terms is a data broker they are violating several states privacy laws that supersede their publication of public records that usually contain a plethora of PII. Ironically, they are located in California and abusing privacy rights laws of California(California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018) that require companies as themselves to allow customers to opt-opt. Instead, this company will provide copy and paste responses about how the data they provide is public information and it is fair game to repost the data. Typically, upon notice of a private citizen’s proper and just request for complete removal of their data from their website, they refuse and deny the citizen. Hopefully, this company will be met by the largest class-action lawsuit by residents of the states with the toughest privacy rights laws soon.

can we sue them together ? they are brutal by asking for identity to prove yourself to be removed

• Jun 08, 2023

Why and how is this company still in business
UniCourt should be banned. They take peoples personal information and exploit them on the internet without their permission. When you try to have them remove it, they will not unless you pay them. I had a legal case that was dismissed, and they refused to remove it off of their website. They told me my I have been provided with temporary 6 month redaction. I may wish to file a motion to seal this public record with the court. If I meet the court’s standards, an appropriate sealing order would remove this record from the public domain.

Unless UniCourt receives an order from the court sealing this public record by the end of this 6 month redaction period, my public record will be unredacted.

Even a lawyer said it makes him angry to see companies like that one using public records for a bad purpose.

Something needs to be done to stop this company. There are so many complaints about this company. When will it end!

I think we need to turn around with different legal angle to sue, like improper profit taking, Unnecessary Burden to remove. They are abusing the Privacy Law to make immoral profit.

crooks
My recent experience with this awful unethical company

Had a court case (as the plaintiff) that was showing up from unicourt in google search. keep in mind that due to the sensitive nature of the case this showing up in google posed a significant threat to my safety and exposed me to a risk of substantial physical harm.

unicourt has no means of reaching anyone at the company by phone email or otherwise (i tried the CEO but no response). They have a removal request process that I made the grave mistake of buying into but guess I was desperate since there was no other way of possibly reaching them. Gave them my phone number, physical address, and picture of my drivers license just to initiate my removal request. Then got an email to confirm my email address and to submit a redactation form that required information as to my name and personal details and exactly where it was on their website. BUT all of this was behind a paywall so essentially I have to give this disgusting company my money ($49 minimum) and credit card number just to get a subscription that would give me the necessary info to complete the last step of my removal request.

Stopped at this point after I read the reviews here and on BBB that complain that Unicourt refuses to honor requests to remove people's information from Google despite these people have legitimate, life altering reasons for needing to do so. These crooks already stole my personal info (and address and DL) and likely already sold it to some not so clean hands, but I refuse to let them intimidate me into giving them a single cent of my money when in all likelihood they won't even consider removing my info. Unfortunately at this point will look for other forms of legal recourse from these thieves to stop putting me in danger and profiting off the harm they are causing me.

What an absolute group of criminals and fraudsters this entire unicourt company is, this awful company needs to go out of business asap and their disgusting CEO/founders behind bars. Also worth mentioning that case text and trellis didnt require any of my personal info (or credit card number) and removed my info right away without issue upon my request.

I dont understand why you gave your ID out so easily. If you believe that they are illegally taking your info from public record, anyone can look up. But the point is even court can entertain to redact, due to many reason, why this brutal site can make such burden and remove with only material exchange ? Please keep your payment record, I think it is a good case to sue them. and make an injection, Once you have a case, we can follow your footage. If you want a class action , lmk, I want to join

Sales are bad why is it still good
Too much identification theft on here bad credit bankruptcy and bad credit jail is not the answer there all innocent people who have good in them I think we should free the people there all homeless about now no more jail time for mental health care reform and the health of the family in the past, people don't need mental health diversion program that's a scam one month in rehab is $25,000. Each month but Medicare and medical insurance pays it for free 2 year program california that's a scam medical insurance pays it for free but they take out $25,000. For 90 days that's $75,000. For drug and alcohol users there's lawsuit against civil rights laws we shouldn't have any problems and nobody in jail or prison nobody should be in jail or prison for along period of time for mental health diversion program california or United States communities services are available not jail or prison where sheriff's and officers hit people and shoot people that's unlawful xng5l

Josh Blandi, CEO of Unicourt, exploits others and harms them to build his F-rated BBB business
It's unfortunate that people find themselves in court. It's an experience most people want to put behind them and not relive publicly forever. Josh Blandi, CEO of Unicourt, has made sure your court case, if not sealed in court, is plastered all over the web so you have to relive it publicly forever for his personal business. This parasite personally capitalizes on others' disputes under the pretense that he's providing a service so others can find your court case. If your court case was one another wanted to find, and was not sealed, it could be found through the court, thus Mr. Blandi's service is 100% unnecessary. Mr. Blandi's unnecessary service only serves to harm those who have used the justice system and places them in harm's way by exposing their unfortunate experience and sensitive information to everyone. If you want your court case removed, Mr. Blandi claims you can request for it to be removed. Yet, when you request for it to be removed, he won't remove it. Even if you show Mr. Blandi it harms you, he won't remove it. Mr. Blandi tells people if they want their court case sealed, they can get it sealed through the court; however, this is very difficult and burdensome for people to do, as it requires them to go back to court, which is time-consuming and expensive if you need the help of an attorney for it. Shame on you Mr. Blandi for using a loophole that court cases are public to exploit this to the harm of others to build your business on. You would think that Mr. Blandi would be just as happy to have your experience with him and his company posted online, as he is with posting your lawsuit online. Mr. Blandi has over 100 complaints posted about him on the BBB's website. His company if F-rated by the BBB. Yet, instead of hearing loud and clear that his business harms and harasses others, which is what the complaints outline about his company, he has the gall to argue that the person who filed the complaint through the BBB is not a customer who has purchased his service and that their complaint should be removed. It's very telling and ironic that he doesn't care at all about the people whose experience in court he uses to make his money. Unsealed lawsuits may be public, but this was never intended to be exploited by Mr. Blandi or anyone else for their personal business. This misuse of public lawsuits was never provided in a warning to a party upon filing a lawsuit. If it were, many people may not have filed a lawsuit. Mr. Blandi, if you won't honor requests to remove lawsuits you publish on the web without a person's permission, may your Unicourt business be put out of business, and may how you've harmed others by your misuse of their personal information live online forever without you being able to remove it.

Couldn't Get Respondent Served on Restraining Order
August 2022 filed civil harassment case. The very day of filing, Unicourt has it plastered all over internet. Send demand for removal due to friend advising me that it came up in a search. They told me they removed it after I filed BBB complaint and negative online review. Promised it would not be on a search after a few weeks! That didn't fix the problem of my not being able to serve this guy. Search still comes up with it because they only posted "This page is no longer available" on the link but the cache and search are still finding the original search information because they did not remove the page, keywords, etc. so the search engine no longer can find it. I keep getting told to go back to the webmaster so now I am having a worse time getting in touch with this sneaky and underhanded service. I was told by a lawyer that this is also against the CCPA because despite it being a public record, no one was given my authority to post my personal and private information online. Can't believe they literally blocked service on my case because of their underhanded way of posting information to alert the person that service is coming!

Professional doxxing services
They post "clickbait" headlines with extremely misleading or inaccurate info to advertise their shady business and then for a small fee of $49/month have ALL of your court documents available for the world to see with as much of your personally indentifying info that you can have in one to place. Guys lets get together and take this pos company down!

Unicourt posted a divorce proceeding with domestic violence and restraining order.
This was posted 7 years after the fact to abuse and victimize more. I requested almost 6 months ago to remove this from all search engines as it was never there before and is only being posted as form of more abuse thru company https://unicourt.com/case/ca-ora-sandra-fryer-vs-donald-fryer-936216. You did remove it but guess what it’s back! Do you do this with the abusers to attack victims over and over or are trying to extort money from me! I will file with the FTC and bbb.

Destroying Lives by Revictimizing Victims
Family law case regarding rape and abuse published with all details of victimization. Unicourt REFUSES to remove posting in an effort to further victimize and exploit. web Josh Blandi's Unicourt site is a data harvesting site. He insists on further data being provided/extracted while he decides at his discretion whether or not a rape case should continue to be published in all it's horrendous details. Horrible person attempting to profit by peddling the suffering and pain of innocent people. I bet this guy's got a history a mile long of being othered and disregarded at home. Calloused, sadistic heart. Should be shut down. JOSHUA P. BLANDI - https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business

False information filed
My divorce ruling was made public by my ex and the information is false.
I have filed a public complaint with the FTC after requesting the removal of the information. He is mentally unstable and wanted the information public that he filed for divorce when I filed 2 weeks prior. Cut it out Unicourt and do better. Also, get a customer service number and quit messing with innocent people like myself.

Can't Get The Person Served For A Hearing Now
I am not a customer. I filed for a restraining order which is really not the world's business and is embarrassing and shaming to say the least that people know I can't keep some weird, threatening person away from me. UniCourt plastered the filing and all the attachments online prior to the person being served, which I found out about yesterday and now the Sheriff's have told me that he has been dodging service as they were aware of the online posting prior, and now I am at more risk for harassment and possible injury, if not death, due to this person being aware of the filing and refusing to allow himself to be served. This is not a helpful service, whatsoever and causing me more fear and anxiety than I already had!
