Re: *** *** (ID***)We thank you for your letter dated * September in relation to the above named, the contents of which are noted.UNiDAYS is a provider of online student verification services which entitle verified students studying at supported institutions to obtain discounts from retailers promoted by UNiDAYSThe service is free to use for eligible studentsUNiDAYS typically supports further education institutions who supply students with an email address and portal log in detailsThese details, among others, enable a student to verify for UNiDAYS services.UNiDAYS reserves its discretion regarding the institutions supportedAt this time, the Institution Learnet Academy is not supported by UNiDAYSThe institution has been considered by UNiDAYS and as it is generally known as, and refers to itself as, a training centre rather than specializing in degree level education, UNiDAYS has taken the decision not to support the institution.As the institution is not supported, we are unable to locate the institution on our system, so cannot review the complainant’s comment that 'everyone else is receiving the discount in the same situation'.UNiDAYS takes all complaints or any issues raised extremely seriously and has dedicated staff to whom any issues raised are escalatedIn this case the complainant was dealt with by our Customer Support team who are fully trained in dealing with any issues raisedOur online records show the correspondence between the complainant and our teamThese reveal that the responses to the complainant detailing our inability to verify her student status. The complainant stated that she had previously received UNiDAYS’ services through her previous course at a different institution which UNiDAYS does supportIt was then pointed out that her current institution is not supported and we apologized that she could not proceed any further with any verification. The complainant then expressed her dissatisfaction at our servicesAgain, UNiDAYS escalated the matter and looked at the correspondence via the Customer Support management team who likewise did not conclude any different to the original responseThere was no evidence of any responses from UNiDAYS being rude or offensive as is allegedWe take pride in our Customer Support teams ability to deal appropriately with all types of complaints and issues raisedIn this case, we are satisfied that we followed our processes correctly.Yours faithfully,UNiDAYS Inc(Please note that our position would be to reply on company letterhead but this occasion we have been unable to due restrictions on the portal)

UNiDAYS supports select higher and further education institutions that supply students with an email address and portal log in details, which among other details, are required to enable a student enrolled at those instructions to become a verified user of UNiDAYS.Due to peak times and high demand, our Support Team are working hard to get through a backlog of messages which has led to a delay replying to some customers. There was further delay as Mr Bartlett was required to provide some additional information and documents to support his verification.Mr Bartlett in now verified and was accepted on the [redacted] October 2016, in line with the customer’s desired outcome, so the support ticket has now been resolved with no further action required.Yours faithfullyUNiDAYS Inc(Please note that our normal position would be to reply on company letterhead but this occasion we have been unable to due restrictions on the portal)

UNiDAYS is a provider of online student verification as promotional services which entitle verified students studying at supported institutions to obtain discounts from retailers. The service is free to use for eligible students. UNiDAYS supports select higher and further education institutions that supply students with an email address and portal log in details, which among other details, are required to enable a student enrolled at those instructions to become a verified user of UNiDAYS. The basis of the complaint appears to be that the complainant saw an offer for Apple Music subscription which is accessed via UNiDAYS. The complainant attempted to register with UNiDAYS to enable him to obtain the offer. In order to register with UNiDAYS the complainant would have had to supply proof of study at an institution supported by UNiDAYS, including a .edu email address supplied by the institution. Unfortunately at this juncture, the complainant was unable to supply these details and advised us that his institution did not issue student ID and that he did not have a .edu or institution email address. These are essential requirements to allow anyone to access the UNiDAYS service. Without such information, we are unable to verify student status, and thereby allow access to our retail partner offers, without such details. Regrettably, it is for this reason that the complainant was unable to become a UNiDAYS' user as he was unable to provide proof of the fact that he is a member of the institution and could not pass the verification requirements. This in turn meant that the complainant was unable to access the Apple Music offer. Whilst we can sympathise with the complainant, a failure to supply details to enable us to confirm student status means that the complainant does not satisfy the conditions required to benefit from the Apple Music offer.
