I wish I didn’t have to give any stars. I really dodged a bullet with this company. Now that I’m here and reading other reviews, I second this motion. I signed my spouse and son up for the ppo multiplan last week. I was quoted a monthly premium of $352.03, and $149 one time enrollment fee. This all sounded good to me. We were promised no deductible, $100 co-pay for ER, $20-$40 office visits, $40 all specialists visits, and free prescriptions. I later had this feeling that I was in for a fight when I created my portal account and saw they took down incorrect bank account info and kept running it two-three times. Something told me to go ahead and create my online account and watch all of my progress and documents. I also watched my bank account every day, and saw the funds were never withdrawn. I noticed the last four digits of payment info were incorrect, so I called customer service three separate times (two different days) to have them corrected. When my funds weren’t being deducted, I started to lose patience. I received a text over the weekend saying my payment was declined and to call customer service to fix this. Well it was on Saturday, and outside of business hours. Luckily, over the weekend, there was no need to use any coverage. First thing Monday morning, I tried calling a different number, the claims department and was told to only call them on such matters. I was told that the other number I was calling was strictly sales, and they weren’t capable of fixing what I needed. That same day, I finally saw the banking ACH number change to the correct account online. YAY, right?!... Unfortunately, yesterday, my bank account was charged twice, for the regular premium and my son’s one time enrollment fee. This sent my account into a negative status, and began a downward spiral. I called them right away and was told they did make a mistake and would be willing to make that refund, as soon as the ACH cleared on their end. On Tuesday, my husband did a lot of research and came to me in a panic saying this is NOT an insurance plan and the agent we talked to misrepresented himself. I immediately picked up the phone this morning and asked to cancel the original policy that was not mistakenly charged. So therefore, we’ll be receiving two full refunds. So the last time I called them was this morning requesting my policy cancellation. Today just before 4:30p cst, I received a text stating my payment for my premium was declined and to give them another call. I recently called them. I was told that I have a regular premium payment and a separate enrollment payment, every month of the so called “one time monthly fee” of $149. This is not what I was quoted. WTH?! I could chew nails right about now. THESE PEOPLE ARE A RIP OFF. They are straight liars and this is not insurance. They will hide all types of fees and send your account into overdraft status, which is what their double payment did to me by the way. Stay away and record all calls for your own proof and protection, like I did. iPhones have a great memo recorder. Speak from another, while recording from your memo. It can go a long way. In most states, you only need one to consent. I was that one. I still hate very much to have to give one star.

I was admitted to the hospital by the pulmonologist team because of an abchest X-rayThe chest x-ray was routine to check placement of pacemaker leads before dischargeThese imaging tests were also not paid.I need Unified Life to pay for ALL hospital and provider charges associated with pacemaker implant and hospitalization, as well as provider office visits.I am requesting that Unified Life be notified of my complaint and it be posted on your website (Kansas City area Revdex.com) and they be given a rating of F by the Revdex.com until my claim is settled.Sincerely,*** ***
