I typically only get oil changes and other minor things done at Tireman as their prices are WWAAAAAAYYYYYYY too high! This last visit cost me $After doing some research I found I could have saved about $by going elsewhere for the same service and warrantyThis has happened before which is why I typically only choose just oil changes here$for a left front lower rear control arm?...$for a belt tensioner and belt?...$for a four wheel alignment with an ADDED $for "SHOP/ENVIRONMENTAL FEES"?...$for washer spray nozzles for windshield spraying?...etcAre they using OEM parts on an year old Ford Fusion? Never got all this over the phone when approving itOnly oil changes from now onI was stupid enough to drop my car off when picking this one up for a trans flush and oil change...Got home and noticed they charged me $to remove a nail in my tire that was never disclosed...BUT I saved $with a coupon towards a $trans flush so maybe I am ahead here! Oh well....It was only Christmas money
I went to Tire Man 10/13/I took my car in for complaintsComplain #was my car was making a slight grinding noise I heard when pulling in and out of my garageComplaint #my Backing lights didn't work While there they asked if I wanted the oil changedIt was close to the mileage, but not over, but I felt like why not get it done while I am there They called me later in the day and stated the brakes needed replaced and that I also needed tires as they were below so many 16th of an inchI said yes to both, and asked what they found on the backing lightsThe rep stated they had not gotten to them yet They called me later in the day and said they were all doneThey changed the pads, rotors and tires, and the lights were functionalThey charged $When I picked up the car I asked how they fixed the backing lightsThe rep said they were working properly when they looked at it and didn't do anythingSo I took his word for it I drove home closed my garage door and put the car in reverse to see that my backing lights didn't work at allI called the Location immediately and spoke with the guy who just took my $I said very politely that the lights were not working, even though he told me they werehe said "well, I didn't personally see that the worked, that is what the Tech told me" He then went on to tell me to bring the car back at my earliest convenienceThe next day after I got off work at 4:I drove to the locationThe guys, different than who I spoke to before helped me, and had me back up to a dock, where they replaced bulbsThis didn't fix the problem, they said I needed to make an apptbecause "Bob" their light guy was gone for the day and off the weekI made an appt to come back the following Monday at amUnfortunately my schedule prohibited this, and I went on for a month and a half with no lightsThis past weekend, I googled no rear backing lights for my cars make and modelThere was a You Tube video showing this as a common issue, and what part was needed and how to change itThe part was $at Auto zone and in stock at the Auto zone less than mile from this certain Tire Man locationIt took me minutes to change it out I am writing this neutral review, because they did a great job on the brakes and Tires and Oil change, but completely ignored the backing light situation, which was a simple fixThis shows that they really only had interest in doing what they really like to do and do best Very disappointed!
