respond to [redacted] complaint on behalf of Unifund.Please be advised that Unifund is servicing this account for [redacted] Collection, LLC. The account was issued by [redacted] National Bank. Our records indicate that the account was opened on 6/13/2001, and that it was charged off on 3/31/2003. The remaining balance at the time of [redacted] Collection, LLC's purchase was $984.31. Unifund was granted judgment on the account ending in 2768 on 9/29/2009 in the amount of $2,085.71.[redacted] alleges that this account does not belong to him. We enclose multiple account statements that were sent to the address provided by [redacted]. We also enclose the original application signed by [redacted], and reflecting the address he provided in his complaint to the Revdex.com. [redacted] also asserts that he never paid a $30.00 fee. This is information that Unifund obtained directly from the court. As you will see from the e enclosed docket, [redacted] filed an answer or first moving document with the court on 12/21/2006 and the court indicates that he paid a $30 filing fee at that time.We appreciate the opportunity to address [redacted] concerns.
