Junk
Bought a Ruger pellet rifle made by Unimax for Ruger. The but plate fell off that was attached with two plastic parts that broke off inferior design. I called Unimax repair and was told they don't make parts for the rifle. Why do you have a repair shop if you do not have parts for repair? I called several times and received different answers. I believe this is a product defect and should be replaced. The parts and repair department is no help and does not attempt to solve my problem. Do not buy Unimax pellet guns. If you have a problem, you have to throw it away. They do not stand by their products.

Review: I believe this product was refurbished and sold to me without the knowledge of that. It did not work from the one, but I knew the $35 card for iWireless is not refundable, so I tried to keep it until the end of the month. iWireless indicated that there should be a card or paper with the company's information, but the only thing in the box was an instruction booklet which was useless to resolve the problem. The information was found online, but not in the box.

The cover included in the box does not fit the phone. The phone battery needs to be recharged every three hours. There are no stores that carry accessories for this phone, nor can you find them on eBay or Amazon. The phone gets hot in my hand, as if overheated.

I have been denied a cash refund since I do not have the correct paperwork inside the box, which was not included when I bought it.Desired Settlement: I want a full cash refund for the amount of $80.74.

Response:

[redacted], Today I received a letter that was dated June 3rd, 2015. This is in reference to customer [redacted]. Unimax is a manufacturer of cell phones. We sell these units to carriers, like I-wireless. Not to end customers or consumers. The product we sell is brand new, off a factory line from our manufacturing facility. All warranty and customer service is to be handled by the carrier, in this situation, it is I-Wireless. I am unable to speak as to the life cycle of the phone in question other than it did leave our factory as a brand new unit and was shipped to I-Wireless's distribution center. In reference to the accessories, our contract with the carrier, specifies us, as a OEM manufacturer, what we can and cannot do in regards to accessories. Most carriers do not want us to manufacture accessories for our devices as they handle that through other third parties such as Trident and Otter Box. As such, we make devices, not accessories. Ms. [redacted]'s complaint, I apologize for her user experience, unfortunately, we are not to handle warranty or customer service for I-wireless's customers. They are to go through their processes and call center for a resolution. Please let me know if you have any further questions or comments. Thank you, [redacted]
