She says that was a lieThe same ad was posted on Craigslist on January and January The add says and I quote, "Sharp! Spotless interiorIt has the Turbo engine so it gets great mpg and still has plenty of get up and goIf interested please give me a call." This is the truth as in the ad copy and I am attaching it to this answer When the person came to buy this car with her brother to look our car over with her, they test drove and looked the car overWhen she came back after test driving she mentioned the car runs and drives greatSaid she loves the car and wanted itSaid "I want itI have the check right here." We were able to speak to Mr*** regarding his concern and we have reached a mutually satisfactory agreement

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

They blatantly sell cars that are not good, as is or not. They are not be trusted. We were told the car was excellent running inside and out, it has been nothing but issues and problems. I want my review published regardless of as is or not. We were told it was a decent car and now we...

are out $3500

I received a letter from the Revdex.com about a vehicle I sold on January 31, 2015 a 2003 Volkswagen Passat with 153,230 miles. In her compliant she states...

that in the ad on Craigslist said the vehicle "Runs and Drives Great." She says that was a lie. The same ad was posted on Craigslist on January 24 and January 31. The add says and I quote, "Sharp! Spotless interior. It has the 1.8 Turbo engine so it gets great mpg and still has plenty of get up and go. If interested please give me a call." This is the truth as in the ad copy and I am attaching it to this answer.
When the person came to buy this car with her brother to look our car over with her, they test drove and looked the car over. When she came back after test driving she mentioned the car runs and drives great. Said she loves the car and wanted it. Said "I want it. I have the check right here." My daughter was beside me in the office at this time also. We both looked at each other both thinking the same thing. I never spoke with anyone about a total price. The check was short of the total amount. I worked with them lowering the price of the car to make their amount work so they could actually get the car. They were very happy and said how much they appreciated it numerous times.
The vehicle when wrote up has no warranties. On the purchase contract other conditions of sale states: As Is No Warranties of any Kind. All Sales Final. No Refund. No Returns. Buyer: Her Initials. Seller. My Initials.
After finishing all paperwork I mentioned if you are ever interested in us doing maintenance on the car she just purchased or anyone else needing service work or vehicles to purchase to take some cards which they took quite a few. They mentioned they would refer us to people and said thank you so much for all you have done so we could get the car.
Approximately 10 days after their purchase the brother called me stating they had a low coolant light come on several times. He then asked me if I knew of any leaks or about the radiator having a crack in it. I said no, truthfully because I never had any leaks or seen a crack in the radiator or a low coolant light ever come on. He said they had it at a mechanic and he stated it needs $2000 worth of work. I mentioned right away I would be happy to look at the car for them. He mentioned he felt a lot of the things the mechanic had on the estimate was probably over charged and didn't need all that. This is what the brother said to me. He was again very concerned with the radiator light crack. Now I want to mention he never once said at all the car ever overheated only that the low coolant light on and they had to add coolant. I was assuming they could add coolant and bring to my shop right away. We would work on it immediately. I would have had no problem getting the car and picking it up with my truck and trailer to look over for them. Again like I mentioned there was never ever an issue with the car of them complaining it overheated on them, she has been driving it.
I mentioned to the brother even if it had a warranty which usually is a 50/50 warranty the customer pays half. Which there was not any warranty of any kind. I would replace the radiator with a used one. Radiator and labor would be about $140 total. I would charge them $70.00 to help them because that was his main concern when he talked to me was the radiator leaking and not having any other concerns about what the mechanic was trying to charge them.
The actual purchaser has not actually ever contacted me on this matter, normally a purchaser has an issue they contact me immediately and I address the issue right away. I will not pay anything on her mechanic's bill. This is a 12 year old vehicle with over 150,000 miles. A car can have any issues at any time. It was her decision to take it somewhere and okay them to do any work. Therefore she needs to pay them to do the work.
Upon my conversation with her brother it was very pleasant when he contacted me. I was expecting after he told me he would speak to his sister to set up a time when they were bring it. That was the last I heard from them and I was very surprised when I got a letter from the Revdex.com.

Review: I purchased a car that was told was in excellent working condition. Upon leaving the engine came on, car was running extremely poorly. I was sold a car known to have major issues despite being assured all was OK with the car. The car is useless at this point to me. I am out the $3000 price I paid for it. I owned the car for less than 1 week.Desired Settlement: I would like the car repaired, replaced or a full refund.
