Union Cleaners

Review: I had a fire on February 16. My clothes and shoes were taken ~ February 19-21, 2014 for cleaning. They were returned on February 28. Please note I was "homeless" from February 16 - February 28, 2014, and I arrived "home" shortly before my clothes/shoes arrived. The items were returned and it took me well over a week to put back all clothing and shoes due to be overwhelmed by the fire situation, having a cleaning company in my home, having no appliances or a kitchen/laundry floor, and so forth. I noticed that a DANSKO, BLACK, SOPHIE shoe was missing. Having never had a fire before, I put it on my "final" claim notice, but mentioned that it was "lost" by Union Cleaner. Once that final claim was submitted, my [redacted] representative told me that I would have to deal with Union Cleaner directly. I called [redacted], who was extremely kind and helpful during my pick-up and drop-off. [redacted] took the time to check to see if it was found at Union Cleaner, but it was not, and so I have been waiting since early May for reimbursement to get a new pair of shoes or to get that one RIGHT, SIZE 37 (European), BLACK, SOPHIE, DANSKO sandal. All I want is the shoe or money to replace it. Please check any website or shoe store to confirm the price of the shoes since they are made extremely comfortable for someone like me, a teacher, who stands on her feet all day. Thank you for your assistance. It has been 3 1/2 months since my fire.Desired Settlement: A new pair of BLACK, SOPHIE, DANSKO, SIZE 37, costs $120.
