Review: Contract #9[redacted]

During Feb 2015, I purchased an extended warranty , (Warrantech) from Unique Auto Center Oxnard, CA 93030. I paid $101.00 for nine (9) months(2 yr. contract) - only to find out during beginning Oct 2015 when my vehicle needed repairs, that the warranty was on "HOLD" due to Unique Auto Center not forwarding the warranty documents in the time as requested, thereby causing my warranty contract to be denied. I consequently had to wait 30 days to 5 Nov. 15 as a "waiting period". I therefore was not able to place my vehicle in the repair facility when I had this malfunction! I was able to facilitate this repair after 5 Nov. 15, (1 month waiting period). I was in effect without any warranty - had I had problems in the 9 prior month period after paying#101.00 for 9 months - So I was informed by warrantech! Also, I could have retianed my auto without having to rent a vehicle for such a long period while they (Unique) were awaiting parts. I therefore paid $180.00 more than I needed too, had they(Unique) told me to take my vehicle to use until the (parts & waiting period) were completed!

The vehicle was driveable for the interim period. I also have not received any invoice when I picked up my vehicle.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of $85.00 diagnostic fee. I am told by Unique that I would be reimbursed by warrantech, (the extended warranty company) at closing of this event! I have a receipt stating this. Warrantech does not reimburse for this!

Review: I bought a used vehicle from this dealership and 3 weeks later the check engine light comes on I call and advise them and they tell me you need to get it diagnosed. I get it diagnosed and it tells me that there is a problem with the fuel injectors. I call the dealership back and they tell me we have to do the diag and it is going to cost you 85.00. I then tell the manager [redacted] you guys should do this as a courtesy as I only bought the truck 3 weeks ago and he says we don't work that way. I have since put almost a thousand dollars and three weeks later the check engine light is still on. I have been emailing the dealership and now all they can say to me is that I am having improper people look at the vehicle. I told them I was going to drop it off and walk away and they said to me in a email if you drop it off here we will call the cops have it towed and you will get big impound fees as it is still in your name. We don't own the vehicle the bank does call them. Needless to say here I am not even two payment in and I have a huge car payment and no truck.Desired Settlement: they should lemon law this vehicle and give me a full refund. My three thousand dollars I gave down the two car payments I have made of 500.00 a piece and the thousand dollars I have put into the truck and take it out of my name so I can go get a vehicle that runs and on top of all this I bought this truck for my son on his birthday so this has been so heartbreaking for my son.

Review: On 3-13-15, I purchased a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle. During my possession I soon realized the bike was too powerful for me. I requested that Unique Auto Works pick-up the bike and they did so on 4-8-15. Not hearing anything about my refund I had to initiate communication in writing and by visiting the location. At my request I received an itemized list of my purchase but received no word on my refund, which is substantial. At this time my bike sits in the show room and Unique Auto Works is enjoying the benefit of having my money and the potential of making more money on the bike.

Enclosed is a copy of the itemized list received from Unique Auto Works. Additional information is below.

Review: I went to the business to attempt to purchase a vehicle after my vehicle was damaged. They told me my vehicle was totaled. They told me to have my insurance forward them a check which was supposed to go to me for payment of the totaled car and they would find me a new car to purchase. I had the insurance company forward the check and they cashed it on 07/25/13. We could not find a car for me to purchase. I asked for my money back and they refused. It has been over 4 months and I have not gotten my money back and every time I call they say I have to speak to the owner and he is out of town.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $991.79 which they were paid and already cashed the check, but did no work.

Review: For the past six (6) weeks I have been leaving messages for manager J[redacted] in regards to a release of ownership document needed to obtain a pink slip on a vehicle purchased in 2010. I have not received even a mere curtesy call making me aware of any progress in locating any information on the sales of this transaction. Finally after many many phone calls, messages and 6 weeks after, I was able to speak on the phone with "J[redacted]". His response to my request is that " he is very busy, and he has already spent an hour trying to locate any information in regards to my request", and further more," he will call me when he has time". I cannot believe that a business would not store such information either on their files or computer system. It seems to me that once this establishment has completed their sales, the customer is no longer valued.Desired Settlement: I need to obtain a lien release on a vehicle purchased from Unique Auto Works.

Review: Drew inpraticular was extremely rude and talked down to me multiple times as if u was his childI have never experienced such bad customer service anywhere else Unique car sales has not fulfilled what was originally said by the could owner Steve.Its been nothing but a mess and big head ache. When I spoke to drew today he said I needed to return my car and he was unsure if I would get my van back witch was a trade in. To hear that was so s carry I have 2 children and a single mom to hear I am not gonna have a vehicle let alone my vehicle I traded in is o stressfull. [redacted] ended our conversation by hanging up on me in the rudest manner, which left me in tears. I just want to give this car back that I got from unique which now they can not find a bank to loan money to me and I want my an back. Better yet I want drew to not contact me any further about this matter and I would like to deal with steve who I was dealing with in the first place.Desired Settlement: Since they can not find a bank to finance me I ask to return this honda for my van back.
