Thank you for reaching out to inform us about our customer complaint
When the customer initially called me and ask me if we work on Volkswagen I had said yes because my mechanic works on European and domestic vehicles and so therefore, I accepted the jobWhen the vehicle was
towed in, my mechanic and I asked her about the repair history of the vehicle and the issues she had with itShe mentioned that she drove the vehicle from San Francisco to Lake County in 3rd gear and the vehicle stalled and died on the roadMy mechanic determined that with her driving on 3rd gear all the way could have caused the motor to overheat causing the valves to over tighten, caused the lower distributor to go out eventually that caused motor to jump timeShe had mentioned that she had a friend worked on it after it died on the road unfortunately the vehicle still not working that is when she decided to bring it in the shopI told her specifically that it will be $per hour labor and that based from my mechanic's initial inspection, it will take about hours to readjust and reset (as described on the estimate/invoice)Once my mechanic started working on the vehicle, he determined other issues possibly caused by people that worked on the vehicle prior to the shop working on it (as stated on the invoice)The vehicle was towed in and was fixed to perfect specs so she was able to drive it out of here in working orderWe received a phone call from her a few days later telling us about a friend who went to work on it because it wouldn't start again and mentioned we had done it wrong basically indicating someone else tampered with the vehicle after usShe was insisting that we had done everything wrong in her vehicle and yet it was running fine when she drove out of the shop
As a business owner, my goal is to provide the best service to our customers and the best absolute care to all vehicles we work on and we take pride on good customer feedback and therefore, rest assured I have tried to work with this particular customer to the best of my abilities and had given her all discounts and most important of all, equal respect I had given to all my loyal customers despite not given one in returnAs per our contract, it is specifically indicated that for any warranty repair, the vehicle needs to be returned to Unique Auto Werks however, the customer failed to do so therefore, I had to decline to further work on her vehicle

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
To begin with this company has falsely advertised on their websiteThey are not members of Revdex.com, local Chambers, AAA, ASE, they are however registered with BARI had confidence in them because of their affiliations.They had my car for daysAfter I paid for the service my car wouldn't stay in idle.The mechanic had to make an adjustmentdays after receiving my car it broke down on a Friday night at 6pmThe tow company would not take my car to a shop with no one there to receive itI called them first thing Monday morning and spoke to the mechanicHe said, "maybe it needs a new airflow sensor"I never spoke to *** that morningLater I called back and spoke to her husbandHe basically said that the car was running perfectly fine when I left and then insinuated that I had somehow sabotaged my car so it didn't run anymoreThis is very unrealistic as I just paid $to have this work done, it was another weekend without my carWhy would anyone do damage to their own car as he suggested? My goal was to have my car to, you know, go placesNot watch it sitting in my driveway.After listening to his barrage of defenses aI asked him if he was going to talk my car to fix it? He flat out said No, it was running fine when you left hereIf they knew what they were doing they would of gladly accepted my car to mend their errorThat is how you stay in business, it's called customer satisfactionMy car has a special engine in it and before I brought it to them she swore up and down that they had worked on my specific car.Here she absolutely lies, "We received a phone call from her a few days later telling us about a friend who went to work on it because it wouldn't start again and mentioned we had done it wrong basically indicating someone else tampered with the vehicle after usShe was insisting that we had done everything wrong in her vehicle and yet it was running fine when she drove out of the shop"I have proof that I wanted it taken back to her shopI told the tow companyI wanted it brought there that Friday night.I didn't want anyone to touch the car so that I would have an expert notate what they did or did not do rightLet's start with the fact that when I opened the engine door to see if there was smoke or anything I saw a air hose that had a screw shoved in one end of itWhen I spoke to the mechanic at Unique that Monday morning, he said he wasn't the last one to have his hands on it and the other mechanic was supposed to cap off the air hose that was no longer needed because they put a none OEM part (without prior approval from me) that no longer needed an air hose to the distributorTheir invoice is illegalIt has no specifications for time put into each part of the labor they did.Completely dissatisfied with the new owners at Unique and their handling of businessThe bottom line is they did not have a mechanic that knew my engine and they misrepresented themselves on the internet and they don't know what they are doing or they would of gladly taken my car in to make it right, and they Do Not have a warranty as I learned.
