The [redacted] represenative [redacted] was at shop when [redacted] came to pick up his vehicle [redacted] left with his vehicle and within minutes he came back to the shop and stated that his headlamps were not operatingAfter review it appears his high beams were working but low beams are notWhen we conducted the QC inspection on the car tech noticed the high beams were activatedWhich most likely we did not change that setting here at the shopTook the vehicle to the back and watched as the techs found that both of the low beam bulb were burnt outThe vehicle showed signs of prior repairs to the front endThe core support had labels missing and the left headlamp was an aftermarket lampThe techs, [redacted] and myself found undamaged bulbs to install on the vehicleThe tech installed the undamaged bulb the left did work, the right side did not workWhen tech attempted to install another undamaged bulb it burnt outWe notified [redacted] of what was going on and he stated he had new bulbs in the glove box of his carOne of the bulbs customer had in his glove box was also burnt outAttempted to use the good bulb on the right side and it did not workWe went to speak to [redacted] , he stated that he had originally HID lamps and they shorted out previously and another shop could not get them to work and replaced them with halogen The [redacted] rep advised [redacted] he could not approve any additional repairs under the [redacted] claimas the issue he was having with the headlamps was not related to the loss on rear end [redacted] mantains that he had operational headlamps when he came in but conceeded that he did have issues beforeWe never touch the front end of the vehicle, the area we worked and repaired was the rear end of the vehicle [redacted] got upset and left the shop with his car We strive for excellence, we give our customers a lifetime warrenty on the work we perform on their vehiclesIf you have any questions or concerns please do not hestitate to contact me , my office number is [redacted] cell # [redacted] , the office address is [redacted] Best regards, Robert [redacted] General Manager
