[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There are many issues with ***'s response.1) Walk through and check: we walked through a small portion the job together, and I had brought up several concerns regarding the floorHe lied to us stating that the bubbles would go away, but they did not after one monthAgainst my better judgement, I gave him a check due to possibly having him put a lein against our home if I did not payI NEVER SAID IT WAS ACCEPTABLE.2) We began our complaints that day (see #1)My wife also texted and called him that date, as we will provide proof in court.3) Our complaints were initially in regards to the shoddy workmanship, especially the amount of debris in the epoxyAs we were able to walk the floor later in the weekend is when we began to complain of the colorThe issues with the color is that you could see the white underlayment under the brown, making it look like a milk chocolate color.4) When I stated I did not want him to touch our floor again due to the issues listed in the initial complaint, asking for the refund, he offered 70% back, not 75%I attempted to negotiate, going from $to $4500, and finally $prior to stopping due to [redacted] not being willing to negotiateSo it is a lie that he stated that I only wanted it all back$was halfway between $and $3500.5) He did not offer the refund and to the jobIt was one or the other.6) We DID NOT choose a different colorIt was a dark brown with ***, and is currently a dark brownThere was absolutely no mistake on the color on our part.7) I am unsure of how [redacted] obtained pictures of our floorTo my knowledge, he hasn't been to our house since before the new company began the jobThe cost to fix his mistakes and have the floor re-done was $6400, so even by asking for $back from ***, we are still well below what it took to fix his workThe first attachment is the current floor color, the second picture is from ***'s floor Regards, [redacted] ***

Tell us why here...I am writing this in response to the complaint you recently informedme of. We have made every reasonable effort to make Mr*** happy.When we finished this project Mr*** walked through the project areaand told me it was acceptable and handed me a check for final
payment.I was not until a few days later that he began to complain, firstabout color, then about quality all of which were explained when wedid our final walk throughI offered to return 75% of his money andredo the project to make him happyHe said no he wanted it all backand hired another company to do itWhen he had it redone he chose adifferent color which leads me to believe he was not happy with hisoriginal color choice and wanted us to fix his mistake at our expense.Now that he has had another company redo his project he has taken awayour ability to do anything for him, we even reduced our price by$because we were not happy with how the bathroom turned outWetried to work with Mr*** but I believe he had no intention ofworking it outAttached are photos of the floor we did and photo ofthe new floor with a new colorThank you for taking the time toreview thisWe pride ourselves on quality work and customersatisfaction and do not deserve to be slandered in this way

There was absolutely no mistake on the color on our part.7) I am unsure of how [redacted] obtained pictures of our floor. To my knowledge, he hasn't been to our house since before the new company began the job. The cost to fix his mistakes and have the floor re-done was $6400, so even by asking for $5000 back from [redacted], we are still well below what it took to fix his work.
