Took my scooter to a scooter store but he didn't fix it. bought another from him but soon after purchase stopped working.Moved up to Raleigh with a [redacted] scooter. Sent the scooter to the shop and asked to have it fixed. Spent over 600 dollars attempting to have it fixed, he came up with numerous reasons as to why it had yet to be fixed. I would get it out of the shop and it would run for a day or two and then it would have more problems, he never could outright explain the problem to me. Finally he told me I would have to simply give up on getting the scooter in any working condition. He said he would give me a 300 dollar credit on a scooter at his store. After I paid $1300 for another scooter I assumed my problems would be over. I got the new scooter and took it home, it worked fine for a few days and then refused to start. I knew a person who works on scooters and asked them if they could look at it, they checked the scooter out and found a wire loose, they reconnected the wiring and the scooter began to work again. He also pointed out how a light in the scooter seemed to be out of the socket and was non functioning. The scooter seemed to work fine after that but before even getting to 200 miles on the scooter it stopped working again, my son was riding it and had to walk up three miles with the scooter to get back home. I took it back to him and now I'm being given the run around about this one as well. Desired SettlementI would like a full refund.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] OwnerContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Yes Mrs.[redacted] brought a used scooter she bought from someone else for repair. It was a 50 cc [redacted] 2-Stroke Scooter. Yes I did fix the scooter a Couple of times. The scooter was a headache from the beginning because it's hard to get parts for a [redacted] 2-Stroke plus it had multiple problems which you cannot fix all at one shot. The last problem was that it needed a CDI and I don't franchise [redacted] scooters/parts. [redacted] parts are hard to get when you aren't the dealer, and nobody franchises [redacted] 2 Stroke Scooters any more. So, she would take it home and something else would go wrong with it. She would argue that the scooter was undergoing the same problem. I would, after looking into it, politely say it was clearly not the same issue but a different problem. The reason I gave her the option to use her scooter as $300 Store Credit towards another one was to help relieve her frustration. The Scooter she bought from me was new 4 stroke 49.99 cc that came with a Limited 1 Year Warranty, 1st Oil change for Free, and a Lifetime Discount on parts and Service. The scooter was $1300 but she only paid $900 to start with and I financed the other $100 and I paid her Taxes.I clearly explained if she had any Issues during the first month with the Scooter that I would take care of it for both parts and labor (only is there was a defect in it). The one year warranty was on parts only for the Motor. She called me over a month later because she had some problems with it, so I told her to bring it in. She didn't right away and once a month she would call saying she was going to bring it in, this happened for about 3 months or so. Her family finally brought the scooter in on Saturday the 6th of September while I was super busy, and short on employees. So I spoke to her husband and son to wait in case the scooter could be repaired on the spot, but if it wasn't the case, If they could be patient so I would get it repaired by Monday the 8th of September, thinking it would be something simple since it was a new scooter, but there was more to meet the eye. My mechanic and I fixed it by the end of the day. We went through the whole motor and finally found a bad wire that seemed like somebody had messed with. This now makes since because she had taken it to someone else instead, as she stated in her complaint. She called me back and said she wanted me to lend her another Scooter while I repair this one and I replied that I do not have one to lend, but that I was working hard to get it fixed. She got upset and called the Revdex.com.I should be charging her for this repair, but I'm not. She shouldn't have let someone else mess with the scooter while it's under warranty. At Unique Motorsports, warranties are void when vehicles are worked on elsewhere since we can't warranty anyone else's work. She should have brought it in ASAP within the first month, not to someone else, then to us three to four month later. The Bike is now fixed!!!!
