The business owner and myself had a verbal agreement to fix/repair my scooter which involved putting a 150cc engine on it and have it running safely
The busineess owner and myself reached a fixed cash amount to build and constuct a safe and reliable funtioning accessory to my 2012 Honda Ruckus scooter. The amount projected for the engine alone was 1,600 and the cdi box wwhich I had extra was installed with a wider tire and suspension upgrades. A number of various other components were added at owners judgement to have the new engine operate. The problems arised when I first drove the scooter off the lot after a fulfilled payment of a total of 2,400 which I was not given a recipt or parts list (which I asked him to produce). The scooter shut off when I got home and would not start back up. I called him and he picked it up. Weeks later he said it was a small rock which somehow got into the air intake. The scooters he sells have guards on the intake. He did not advise.me to have a guard but he did the work and got it running. But he still claims he did me a favor "by not charging me".. I then drove it off the lot the second time and a day later noticed a smell coming from the engine. I called him and he picked it up again. A week later I was able to drive it off the lot again. He said the drain pkug was not tight. So that was claimed on his warranty gurantee. This goes to show the lack of professionalism to his work. He sent me off not checking thengine properly. Now the third time I have drove off his lot the engine quit on me again while going downhill in traffic. I was able to restart it and made it hpme approximately 10 miles away from business. I parked the scooter and the next mroning it would not start. I called another scooter company that has a very reputable business in Durham. They are now fixing it tk the sum of 1,000 $$$. They have told me that there are multiple wiring problems. The battery and the CDI box were wired incorrectly among other issues which I will see when I get their invoice. The owner of Unique motor Sports has blocked my number and has not responded to my texts and hing up on me after I told him I would seek repaymeny in small claims. He did not offer to fix the electrical at all. I will be seeking the amount of the invoice from Combustion cycles to properly have my scooter safe and functional which should be approximately 1k$ Thank you.

I will be seeking 800$ for repairs I had to make to my scooter due to the unproffesional work and negligence by the owner *** of Unique Motor Sports.

We at Unique Motor Sports have always gone out of way to make the customer happy and this is what the intent was from in the beginning this particular customer until the Customer takes advantage of more work for the same price tag and becomes offensive in the end. He left his bike with us for over half a year because he did not have all the money to take it out. I was very patient and worked with. He a kept adding Performance CDI, Performance Intake, Performance Variator, Performance Clutch, GPS system hook up, Charging Gps system and phone charging System and other things. I had given him my personal cell number to call me so that I could help him with whatever issue during operational hours but he was calling me at 8pm , 10pm at night and on my only day off too which was Sunday and that is why I blocked his Cell number so he would call during business during or operational hours. He did not call the shop after I blocked his cell from my cell, which he could have done that. He just came one day bringing me back some mirrors he wanted a refund on and stormed out because I could not take back his special order of mirrors ordered 2 to 3 month ago. These mirrors had been on the bike for 2 to 3 months. I could not take these mirrors back and he became offensive and defensive and that is where I have a hard time communicating a Solution for him, He Storm out of the shop.
After he pick up the bike, he had an issue with it which I offer to pick it up and fix it. He had a piece of metal go into the Stator and Burned it up. I replace it, $250 Cost, and he only paid 30 plus 70 he still owed me from pass stuff.
When I put the mufler, Originally, it was an old muffler he wanted me to find a way to make it work on this new bigger Motor and I did what I could with what I had.
The second time he called me was a Fuel and intake issue which I went and pick it up again and put him a Longer performance intake and Different Air filter at no Cost to him or Towing fee.
This was a custom job that could have been well finished if he would have let me work out the different kinks int but instead he kept adding more this and prolonging the payment.
We would have gotten everything done right if he would have brought to us a Good Muffler and not go cheap on the muffler and kept adding electrical chargers, GPS, Etc.....
Some Customers you just can please but I will certainly try my best. I decide not to deal with customers when they become Offensive, threatening and belligerent.

Unique Motorsports aka *** the owner/resident mechanic. He charged me $1,200 to put a 125 cc motor into my moped. It will not start and is leaking.
Unique Motorsports is a a small business that handles repairs for mopeds and sells mopeds. *** seemed so friendly and kind when I first met him. He charged me $75 to pick up my moped, which was not running due to a faulty 50cc engine. My moped would only go 35 miles per hour. So, having *** pick up my moped and install at 125 cc engine seemed like the best thing to do at the time. I would call him every week and ask him about the repair and the cost. He would not quote me on the cost until it was finished. I told him that I could only pay up to $500. When it came time to pick up my moped because the repairs were finished and my motor was installed, he finally told me the price over the phone. $1,200 is what the cost was. I was shocked. I barely had enough to pay that and pay my rent. I reluctantly paid ***. I started the moped and drove it home. The next day the moped would not start. *** came to my house and picked the bike up for free. He called me back and said that it could be my battery. He replaced the battery and sold me a battery charger for $50, just in case I needed to charge my battery in the future. I paid for an cab, picked the bike up and I drove the moped home. The next day the moped would not start again. *** came to pick the moped up again. He apologized and told me he would look into it. This time he said that I needed a new and different kind of battery. He did not charge me for the battery and he said that this should fix the issue. I called a cab and picked up the moped and drove it home. The next day the moped would not start. I told *** that he needed to come fix the problem immediately. He came over and took the moped back to his shop again for the third time. I told him that I cannot keep paying for cab rides because of lack of money. He said he would drop the moped off at my house and lock it up when he finished repairing the issue. This time he said that the problem was that I was over-flooding the engine. He said, because that I wanted to have an automatic engine that this was causing the issue and to fix it he would need to put a special kickstand on my bike that elevated the front tire higher than the back to make sure that it does not get over-flooded. Meanwhile, I am thinking the worst. What have I gotten myself into. This mechanic is a fool. I've never seen a moped have a special kickstand because of the way a motor was installed. Yet, I was just trying to be positive and hope for the best. Two days later the moped would not start. *** agreed to look at the moped, but only one more time. He said that he could not put anymore time into fixing my issue and that other people's mopeds were needing to meet their deadline for being fixed. *** came and picked up my moped and called me when it was done. He said that it started up fine for him and that he installed a mounted kickstand. My moped looked ridiculous. It's front end stood up higher than the back, but I did not care, as long as it would just start and be reliable. The moped stopped working after two days. Then my clutch cable snapped. Instead of going to ***, I went to another mechanic. He picked up my moped and he fixed my clutch cable inside two hours. When I came to pick up the moped he said that he had some serious concerns. One was that my motor was leaking oil and that my gas canister was leaking gasoline. This mechanic was named *** at *** Sports. *** let me know that the motor installed on my moped was possibly used. It had dents on the case, which I did not see before and it had screws stripped. The moped is leaking so much gas and oil that I am no longer driving it. The last time I was on it was last week May 4th. I feel like *** needs to be sued or have the Revdex.com investigate his business. His new address is *** Road Raleigh, NC 27616. I want justice! I'm out $1,200. My moped does not run. I may have had a used motor put into my moped when I paid for a new one, plus it's leaking.

Mr. Called me to pick up his 2-Stroke Bicicle-Peddiling-Moped, back in November, that another shop miss used very bad, He told me this himself. He came to me so I could fix it. I charge a $75 deposit to test different components of the bike for that price and if will want to get it fixed I said I Deduct the deposit to the balance of the total repair. If he did not wanted to go Ahead with the repairs then I keep the Deposit and the pick up fee of $45. ***'s 2-Stroke Moped had electrical Issues, Mechanical compression issues, and the engine inside it was full of H2O. I said if he wanted to fix it we can put a new 4-Stroke 110cc engine with Kick Start. *** said he wanted it with Electric Start and Automatic, which is a lot of Work. I told him that the Engine by itself would cost $499.99 not counting Fabrication, modifications of sprockets, and Shop Supply's. He agreed. Then, when I am almost done, he calls me to say he does not want to pay more than $500. The total job was about $1,500 but because he just started to complain I went took a loss of $300.
If he would have just taken the Motor with Kick Start it, his engine would not of needed to be put up in the center stand so oil would not go into the Combustion Chamber. *** Was calling me at all times of the knight, knowing our shop hours are from 10 am to 6 pm, I took his calls and text anyway to be nice. He took advantage of this and was contacting me 12 mind-knight, 1 am, 10 pm, Sundays when we are closed. I pick up the bike for free multiple times and found bad fuel, water in the carburator, dirty Air-filter, Broken Side stand, Broken Center Stand. He told me he would drive through bad roads bar hoping. He was using the Scooter like a Dirt Bike, in my opinion. The last time I Fixed it I told him it would the last time because he was not taking care of it. He drove me nuts for months. And yes I am a fool for going out of my way to make him happy only letting him take advantage over and over. I lost Sleep, Time and Lots of money because I really like the Guy. He took advantage. I learn my lesson. You cannot make everybody Happy. I went over and beyond to help!!!!! He abused his last motor and now this Motor.
If he is getting an opinion about his engine being a used engine after using it almost 3 months, then yes, it is use after 3 month of use.
The Throttle cable is not a clutch cable because it is automatic, this broke because it was never new. It was his own original Throttle Cable. Again, Abuse of his Bike.

I had to block him on my phone because he would get calls in the middle of the night.
99% of my customers are Very Satisfied. *** is that 1% that I could not satisfied.

is assaulting my character. He is also not being fully honest. Although *** did try to help me, he never fixed the problem and my moped never ran more than 2 days at most. I drove the bike on paved roads. Where is my justice? Why am I unable to ride down a street that is paved without having my moped fall apart or leak oil and gas? And, yes I do go out and enjoy going to a bar and eating. But, I'm by no means a reckless person. I have several witnesses who will testify that this moped was not working properly within 24 hours of repair. I never wanted to bother ***, but when my moped would stop working and I was stuck pushing the moped for blocks to my house where I could lock it up safely, I needed desperately to contact him and let him know immediately. This way the next day before business started he could arrange to pick up my moped. If you call *** during business hours, he says he's the only one at the shop and that the earliest he could pick the moped up would be around the end of the day or the next morning. When *** and I started our relationship as mechanic and moped owner, I was very pleased. However, once the moped would not run correctly I began to worry. He would come to pick the moped up, this is true. But, he never fixed my moped. True, I could ride it off his property. But, nearly within 24 hours the moped would not run. When we talked about my 110 engine installation, *** told me that he could install the automatic 110 cc engine into my moped. When I recently went into another mechanic's shop, he said that I should call the Revdex.com immediately. He strongly believed that *** installed my automatic engine improperly and that it could even be used due to the dents and stopped screws. I have not ridden this bike more than 10-15 miles with no crashes and I'm very careful. I wanted to support ***. I wanted to get along with him. But, on the 6th time of his attempted repair of my moped, my moped started leaking oil and gas. It was like we put out one fire only two have two more spring up. And, after I paid *** $1,200. I thought I would have months of riding before anything like that would happen, or at all. When I had my original TOMOS with its 50 cc engine, it was so reliable. I loved getting on my moped and just riding around downtown. Really just to be seen and enjoy the sights. Now, since *** did my repairs, I'm not sure if I'll make it back to my house. *** made my bike run and perform well, but the way he installed the motor has made it so it is not reliable. I don't want to disparage ***, I have not written a bad review on ***. I have not called him and made angry threats, however, I told him that he is getting close to a small claims court dispute over this repair. What else can I do? In my heart, I know I am a good person. And if *** considers himself to be honorable and just, than he needs to make sure he repairs my moped correctly. I would never ask anything else from anyone. If ***, will not help me by doing what is right, which is really what I paid him for, than I will have another mechanic pay for my repairs. Which, will cost me even more money. It's just a nightmare. On one hand, *** is right. He did do his best to help me with my moped. He came and even picked my moped and dropped it off to me, not once, but twice. However, the moped still would not start within 24 to 48 hours. I bought a new battery and I used different chargers. I did everything I could think of before calling ***. However, eventually I would have to ask him to pick up my moped and please fix this issue. I shouldn't have been put in this position in the first place. That's what I need *** to understand the most, if anything. I'm a good person who takes care of my friends and possessions. I have not mistreated this moped. I simply rode the moped home on a paved road. It's not fair what is happening to me. I am the victim here. I just paid $1,200 for a moped that cannot run correctly for more tha. 24-48 hours. And worse, I feel like ***, is somehow going to get away with this and not be held responsible. All I want is for my moped to work and be reliable. *** installed my engine incorrectly. Oil runs into the spark plug or the carburetor gets clogged or some other random issue happens like gas and oil leaking from the moped. I can't keep up with it. And, these are all from his repairs. He installed a new gas tank, which is now leaking. He modified this 110 cc motor so it's now leaking oil. Which a new mechanic told me might have a broken gasket. Another reason he believes that *** knowingly sold and installed a used motor into my moped when he charged me for a new one. And, on top of all that he installed wrong automatic motor, so that oil leaks into my spark plug. Instead of remedy the issue, by installing the correct motor and shorting certain items, he made a ridiculous kickstand that has my bike looking absurd and doesn't even correct his flaws in his build. Now the bike is leaking oil and gas and I am possibly going to have to live with a faulty repair for rest of this moped's life, unless *** is brought to justice. I would have him repair the moped, but at this point, I'm afraid he either will not agree or say that I have mistreated the bike. And I have not mistreated this bike. If I had my wishes come true, I would have picked up this bike from *** and called him in two weeks time to have him do more work on the moped, like install better shocks or install rear-view mirrors. Now, our relationship is destroyed. He is simply being unprofessional, spiteful and false. If *** continues to disparage my character to with false accusations he will find himself in court for libel, as well. Defamations of my character will not be tolerated. *** will answer for his false repairs and I will have justice on this matter.
