I submitted my response yesterdayHere's a copy thank you.Revdex.com,First and for most I apologize for this request from customer [redacted] as I been complaint in keeping her in the loop about this whole process and even when her phone calls were during non-business hours for inspectors and myself I made the best effort to answer her questions as they came up It is very important to emphasize that Patio Covers are been built correctly and as engineered by the manufacture and the engineers themselvesI have built and pass many permits in the city of BakersfieldAlso, customers are asked if they will be pulling a permit themselves or will like Unique Patios to pull one I will be clearer with customers in the future due to Mrs [redacted] ’s misinterpretation of the pulling of a permitOur product has a lifetime warranty and the manufacture requires permits for any claims, therefore, a permit is a mustWhen I took Mrs [redacted] ’s project I was not aware of the Shafter City limits and their requirements once the Patio Cover was built I introduced myself and my business to the City of Shafter paying all appropriate fees and pulling the initial request for permitThis was the reason why Mrs [redacted] contracted Unique Patios for this project all other Patio companies were over priced as they knew what they were up against to, Shafter requirementsAll of which was done at a timely mannerThen the city of Shafter denied permit and that’s when Mrs [redacted] started calling them making matters more complicated to the point of stating that I had charged a complete Patio Cover without delivering the goods or installing suchThe City of Shafter inspector’s own words to myself were, “I couldn’t believe that someone will pay $5,without any product delivered so I went to see for myself and to my disbelief there was a beautiful patio cover built in the property address in question,” [redacted] he went on to add, “We have met with the engineers of Amerimax and this is what we are looking for .” After city inspector told Mrs [redacted] that the product was deliver and installed then her questions about the quality of the engineering began also her 4:amphone calls and after 10:pm calls continuedMy license was placed on hold, so no permits were pulled during the month of August and September all of which was informed to Mrs [redacted] She then spoke to my wife which was her initial contact (due to the language barrier) when her patio was measured and advised she did not mind if it took us a year to pull a permit as long as it was doneSame day this conversation occurred I received a phone call from Mrs [redacted] asking for her permit at a later time which confused me and the validity of the conversation between her and my wife to the point of questioning if we were speaking to the same person as different numbers were used by Mrs [redacted] during the course of this project After a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com Mrs [redacted] called me 11/10/asking when I was coming by to remove the patio at which point she did not need an interpreter and spoke EnglishThis has also created some confusion on who we are speaking with because the [redacted] at property during installing did not speak English not that this makes any difference for what is in question here, only that there might be some or a few misinterpretations of what to expect and what is actually been promisedPurchase Price: $ Minus Restocking fee: 25%ORAllow 2-weeks to resolve the Permit with City of Shafter issue.I will forward emails from inspectors to validate timesThank you, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, ID The above-mentioned notice does not come to me as a surprise as I stop showing up to *** house every time he needed me to change something I have been out of pocket for this job on several occasions to satisfy customers’ needs and in doing so I have
compromised other projectsI also been more than compliant with customer provided materials and labor at a timely manner and adjusted patio cover to better fit his tasteDuring the process, some of the work was delayed because customer did not like the fans he provided once they were installed and wired fans had to be taken down and replaced all at no additional labor cost I serviced goods to protect homeowners roof from water damage at no additional cost always keeping in mind customer budget while providing exceptional serviceI take pride in the work I do and as a homeowner and consumer I enjoy delivering services that better our homes and environmentI did notice inconsistencies with *** statement to the Revdex.com and frankly do not feel comfortable with the misleading information provided by *** and the facts left out on his statementsI understand he is big on dates and deadlines therefore I will provide my own timelineAlso, I did notice a bit of persistence on the pulling of a permit which was also done at a timely manner utilizing my license number. The permit was very important to *** as he did ask if this would be a side job or was my contractor license valid I assured him my license is valid, but could not do concrete work, I provided with a licensed concrete contractor info but ultimately *** did his own outside hiring, I do not have the facts on thatI don't like to conclude that due to my very compliant attitude I open the door to all of this I had asked for an amicable resolution unfortunately, been out of pocket is no longer an option for meNeedless to say, after the City of Bakersfield was out there and permit was pulled and passed Unique Patios and Raingutters was compliant with contract, delivered and installed the product agreed upon on initial contract and moreI'm very sorry that the Revdex.com has to be involved in this matter and I'm disappointed that all my time, work ethic and effort were in vain in this project this is not what Unique Patios stands for June 2, first day of installationJune 3, (Saturday) second dayJune 4, Fans are up customer is not satisfied with fans he will return and bring different fansJune 5, new fans installedPatio is completedJune 6, Free day Raingutter installation all is completed customer is not happy with side gutter June 21, Permit is pulled at the City of Bakersfield only delay is for fans to be open and ready for inspection at this point *** is not allowing me in the premises unless he is present, again delays on *** part June 29, I’m finally able to go over June 30, Inspector goes to home permit is pass contract is completePatio cover size by feet no more than days of installation if no delays by contractor or customer as you can see delays were not on contractor’s part
